Catching up on the blogs brought us back to a wonderful vacation. John, you were right when you told me that it would be very different from the Caribbean cruises we usually take. It also was not relaxing at all. I would have loved to have started and ended the cruise with a day at sea. But we saw so much, it was amazing. I hope to have some time to write a complete review in the future. Rome was amazing. If you ever get a chance to take the Vatican Necropolis tour, definitely do. I think it was Cortney's favorite place on the trip. In fact, also on the tour was a large family from the ship. We had take a couple to tours with them and they acted the same on this tour. Your blog entry about the bus disagreement brought a smile to my face. Similar things happened on our tours. I always thought bus tour ediquette was to sit in the same seats to help the guide keep track of people. We actually had a family move our things from the front seat so their kids could sit there. At first we thought we got on the wrong bus and then couldn't find our things. But we just found another seat and grumbled among ourselves about people and their sense of entitlement. James Ross Mullins letter also brought a smile. Obviously, he booked his cruise the wrong week. It's all about timing. I know of two beautiful 20 something young women on our cruise. Cortney and a very nice young woman living in New York traveling with her family. We had a very nice time with them. We spent a couple of nice evening with them in the Piano Bar.
