This information is closely guarded by his company and I would give anything to talk to, or write him directly.

Dear John:

We're just counting down the days to 9/2 sailing of the Legend. One question that I'd like to ask: Is there a DVD players on the cabin TV's or are there DVD players to be rented on board? We love to wind down in the evening while watching a movie that we haven't seen every night during the week (hint, hint). I don't mind bringing my own DVD's, but it would be a darn sight better if there was more selections during the week or two of cruising. We are praying for the western Caribbean - for the safety of the peoples and for their properties.

Hi John, LOVE Susan B's Blogger Cruise Bingo idea. That one is a winner. Even a grand prize of say $1000 towards the cruise would be good.

Just a note to say a Thank You prayer that Dean is almost over and it is not going to do very much damage to Mexico.
I figured that you would not be able to find out any news about it John since you don't have American TV on the ship...hehe..
I have a quick idea for the blogger's cruise...have a special bingo game just for blogger's where they can win the next blogger's cruise. Mr. Cheap would even buy bingo cards then.

Hi John and Heidi,
We just returned from a 5 week stay in NY so I am trying to catch up on reading the blog. We are sailing 9/22 and I have a question about a Naples Excursion: The Secrets of Naples. We have done Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Herculaneum so we are looking for something else. This tour looks different. Do you know how much time we actually spend underground? I would be interested in your thoughts on this one since we would like to book it before we go.

We look forward to seeing you once again! I noticed Hurricane Dean and it reminded me of the nickname my husband gave me "Hurricane Magnet" After we missed our Hawaii cruise due to Hurricane Rita closing our airport, my TA recommended a cruise on the Conquest which was repositioned nearby in Galveston ( to make up for our missed cruise) The day after we booked the Conquest , he sent me an email with a picture of a storm and out of the center was the head of WILMA Flintstone. The email said "I can't believe your luck". We did in fact sail but it was rocky and we missed Cozumel. I hope we can get out of Texas this time for our 9/22 cruise without a hurricane or I don't even want to think of what my husband will call me this time!!!!!!!!

It seems Jamaica did ok, and Grand Cayman and Cozumel are ready for biz.

It is reported that half the pier in Costa Maya is gone and even more of the town. I suppose things could have been much worse if it had hit a highly populated area, but it is still sad.

Some pics are starting to come out including one of one of the nuts that rode out the storm in their house.

The one with Catherine Morales - I think (maybe) in the distance, to the left of the palm trees is the pier or what is left and at the left margin the lighthouse.

There is a picture of what is left of Hotel Mahahual in there, also.

Hey John!

Thanks for helping me figure out what happened with the papers.

I am sorry to hear about the gentleman who passed and my condolences go out to his family.

Furthermore, I pray for those of beautiful Costa Maya, Mexico where Hurricane Dean made landfall with 165mph sustained winds. Absolutely horrible. Bless them all.

The picture of the Freedom at night is beautiful. I have a similar one of the Carnival Liberty in Nassau when it did its 2-night bahama sailing upon returning from Europe.

Hope all is well. Best regards to yourself and Heidi.

John,
I was just wondering about the scrapbooking classes on all the ships and what the progress is on that. Also wondering about teaching arts/crafts on my upcoming cruise on Dec. 9th.
Have you heard from Chris Prideaux?

Thanks for sharing the picture of the gifts, I saw where beano was included, great combination with the jelly beans (tee hee)

John,
I just read you will not be on the Freedom Aug 2008. Who will be the CD for the Freedom? Would you consider staying until our Cruise is over? We are scheduled to Cruise 26 Aug., 2008
