Well, the Memphis Zoo had a show of those mechanical dinosaurs a few years ago and not one, not two, but several families demanded their money back because the dinosaurs were not live!

Thanks for your kind words about Guernsey – we get quite a few cruise ships calling here – but as St Peter Port has a small harbour they have to tender to shore – and sometimes the weather does not co-operate. It was so good seeing two Carnival ships in the city again – Ecstasy and Sensation – hopefully it won’t be too much longer before Carnival again bases two ships there.

Looking at the jelly belly site, I see their sugar-free jelly beans do have a warning “label.”

Actually every year there are some Zydes from England that show up and Zydeco can be found in many countries.

Thank your Mum for the chicken curry recipe. First I have to clean up a (mostly contained) small flour explosion left over from the cheese scone adventure – which reminds me – I’ll pop a few of them in the oven for a bit and that shall be part of tonight’s dinner. Yum.

And then I have that darn cruise coming up, so it might be a while before I get around to trying the chicken curry. But I have captured the recipe.

I just finished reading the “We are family” blog. (I am a bit behind due to visiting my ill father) Is the guy in the picture, eating the extra large pretzel really Mickey Arison or just a look a like? I met Mickey once in Miami and he sure has a resemblance.. See you in about 37 days!!
