I have worked with Carnival Cruise Lines for four years I started in 2003. My current position is Team Headwaitress.

Where are you from and what is the best thing about living there?
I am from Croatia from a town called Zagreb the reason I love living there is because it has a beautiful landscape and everything is still green.

What is the best thing about working on a cruise ship?
The best thing working on a ship is the money I can save and meeting new people and seeing all these places and meeting the passengers who many are friends today.

What is the hardest thing about working on a cruise ship?
The hardest thing is not seeing my family and the working hours.

  1. The staff works so hard!!!

(sigh) the international love of chocolate….YUM!

  2. John,
Martin Pert (Jamaica) was the best waiter we have ever had on Carnival. If he is still on the ship I think it would make his day for you to highlight him (and maybe his asst. Putri as well).

  3. Indeed, they do work hard. Props to everyone, seeing that they’re separated from their family for so long but still get the job done excellently everyday…

  4. I have to say that I loved the port ofDubvornik when we sailed on Carnival last year….The people were charming and we had awesome pizza.

  5. I just want to say that it has been an honour and a pleasure to have had the opportunity of working with Natasa.
She has an exceptional personality with a very infectiuos laugh and all who come into contact with her immediately take her to heart, as she does to them.
As to her being the Maitre d’…….go for it Natasa, you can do it!!!……………

  6. The last two interviews have been wonderful. However, it strikes me that they love what they are doing, but at the same time miss their family so much. That is very difficult and sad; but in spite of that they put on a happy face and do a great job. Way to go!
