John and Heidi,
January can’t come soon enough..the long days are making it difficult to focus…we need a cruise in the worst way…Any ideas on how to make the Blogger’s cruise get here any faster???I saw Vicki in Las Vegas at the TRADESHOW and told her how much we were looking forward to it.It is amazing how much time she gives to helping Travel Agents get things done…no other industry exec…does as much for TA’s !!!! Heidi it’s nice to hear you are having fun with your Mum…does John include her in the show’s ??? Please give a shout out on the BLOG to Bethany,Bob,Julie,Forrest,Joe,Shannon,Julie and Kent…all booked on the Bloggers cruise thru me !!

Sunset have to one of my favorite pictures
Thanks for sharing them with us
Beauuuuutiful…. why are you doing this to meeeeeee???!!!!!!!! I can’t believe I’m not going with you guys on October 16th. My group is 50 strong. I have someone in charge of it for me (lucky dawg, she got all those juicy cruise credits.. blah!!!!) Anyhoo, I have a question. Can you give me a contact name / email for the Ship’s Groups Coordinator? I have found that on past groups I’ve done, if I can communicate with the Groups Coordinator in advance, my group happenings onboard go alot smoother. This group that is sailing with you, they are holding group get-togethers and meetings in various lounges throughout the voyage, so I just wanna satisfy my over-anxious, worry-wart, albeit anal desire to confirm, confirm, confirm! If you can’t give it out, that’s fine. But was just curious! Thanks John!!! I know my group members are gonna come back raving not only about the voyage, but about YOU! Hey if they write you a note, like the passengers do from time to time, will I be able to see it on the blog while they’re gone? If so, I’m gonna tell someone to write to you from my group. I’ll be watching
toodles!

John,
I sure have to agree with you about Istanbul. Don’t know what I was expecting, but the city blew me away when we visited. A magnificent city!
And since you’ve been sharing jokes, and Christmas isn’t all that far off, here’s one for you.
A fellow’s wife has had a wooden leg for years, so for a Christmas surprise he purchases a modern new prosthetic leg for her… and he hides it deep in a closet at his home.
As Christmas approaches she inevitably discovers it in the closet, and asks him… Is this my Christmas gift. He says… no dear, that’s just a stocking stuffer.
Wow – absolutely beautiful !!!!
Hi John,
Love the pictures, all of them!!
Have a great day!
Morning…
Saw this and thought of you today. The comment was made by a stock market guy here in the states, Jim Cramer…Enjoy:
Like Best Buy, Carnival Cruise Lines is outperforming competitors by seeking customers where the economy is exciting.
Cruise companies will win or lose based on their ability to transfer their services to a richer Europe. With 30% of its sales coming from outside America and with the largest cruise fleet in Europe, Carnival Cruise recognizes the need for an international presence.
Moreover, Europe’s cruise passenger count increases 10% annually, whereas America’s rate of passenger increase is closer to 5% per year, Cramer said. Carnival Cruise has taken notice, projecting that 40% of its fleet should be European by 2010. Its closest competitor, Royal Caribbean, only devotes 10% of its fleet to Europe.
“Carnival is making Royal Carribean looking like the S. S. Minnow,” Cramer said.
John & Heidi,
We just returned home from our two week cruise -9/10-9/22/2007 and we had a wonderful time. We loved all the ports of call. Thanks so much for all the goodies you sent to our cabin. We really appreciate everything the two of you did for us while we were on the Freedom. We will continue to read the blog-thingy and wear our t-shirts in memory of such a wonderful vacation. We hope to join you and Heidi again in the near future on another cruise. Maybe the blog cruise. Our best to you both and thanks again for everything. Be sure to let us know when you run out of jet fuel.

The sunsets are exquisite! The blog has been fun. Hug Heidi and enjoy your day!
John and Heidi,
Guess the package didn’t get there before you sailed. Hopefully it will be there when you return to Rome. If not, I will just have to start all over again!
The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. I can tell you right now that July will not come soon enough! You know, I truly need a poster like that on the wall to look at when I need to destress. Hubby needs one in his office also!
I saw the comment that someone had made about Istanbul. That is an incredible port! It is absolutely gorgeous and it has so much mystery surrounding it! Nothing compares to sailing out of that port with all the mosques glowing in the sunset. Absolutely incredible!
Hope you have a good voyage this trip. Take lots of lovely pictures!
The photos are stunning!
