4:30pm – Thursday – getting ready for the Captain’s party.You won’t believe this – I now have two cut fingers, the new one happened this evening and I had to tell you about it. So, there I am in the shower (steady girls) washing my hair when I get shampoo in my eyes which stings more than being surprised by a Turkish hose pipe.
The pain of Head and Shoulders in the eye was nothing compared to what was to follow. There I am in the shower, my eyes stinging and unable to see nothing I groap for the tap to turn the shower off…………….and then as my hand headed for what I thought was the tap……………I caressed Heidi’s ladies razor thingy which was placed on top of the tap…………and that was me looking like an extra from some B Horror Movie. Now, as I screamed in pain, my eyes still stinging from the shampoo and blood pumping from my 4th finger that my darling wife would rush to my side………………you would be wrong………..she strolled in, looked at me and said “you are so clumsy”……………….bloody hell, it’s not my fault that she had rigged the bath up like some Delta Force assault course. Just once it would be nice to have a bath or shower and not be surrounded by an entire Wal-Mart store.
I miss my single days when the bathroom was mine………..it was just me and my soap………………on a rope.
