She has put up with the packing, unpacking, and packing again. She has put up with me blogging when I should have been romancing. She has put up with my underwear on the floor, the toilet seat being in the wrong position and nursed me when Monsieur Bell came to stay………….so I decided that today Heidi deserved a bit of pampering and relaxation.
Good Morning everyone from the Emerald Princess who as I speak is docking in the port of St.Kitts. It is 8 am and Heidi is asleep still. I however was woken up by an alarm of a different sort as last night’s dinner decided to magically turn into a gaseous form……………… who needs an alarm clock when you had spicy prawns for dinner?
We ate in the regular dining room last night at anytime dining and again experienced no lines and the service and food continued to be first class. Heidi had a salad and fish while I also opted for lighter fare considering the hippopotamus I ate last night at the Crown Grille.
During dinner we were approached by Mr. and Mrs. Ziegler who recognized me from a recent Carnival Freedom cruise. This was their first Princess cruise and like me they were having a brilliant time. Mr. Ziegler asked me for some advice which I was happy to give him. We invited them to sit with us and listened to his story.
It turns out that in St. Thomas Mr. Ziegler had taken a taxi tour of the island………….one that is not organized by the vessel. During the tour they were at a place called Mountain Top and met a young lady who offered them a great prize of a video camera or lap top computer if they visited the resort where they worked. ………………..
I immediately recognized where this story was going. Anyway, they agreed and sure enough they arrived at the resort called Sapphire and were given drinks, etc. and after a while were subjected to a very hard and aggressive sell on time share. Luckily, Mr. Ziegler was smart enough to get out of there and when he said he wanted to leave the guys became somewhat hostile and said that they had to pay for the “free drinks ” and they were not entitled to any free gift.
Mr. Ziegler also told me that he saw a good dozen or so people at the resort who looked like the alcohol may have got the better of them.
Now I have heard this before and not just in St.Thomas and I actually take the time to warn guests. I have seen too many tears as people sober up and realize they have spent thousands of dollars on a time share they probably did not want.
Anyway, Mr. Ziegler asked if I thought he should document this and I suggested he do so at the Passenger Service Desk and I also promised him that I would mention this to James the CD here and also on my blog.
So, if a young man or lady approaches you in the islands with the promise of treasure and free drinks………….be warned………….those 7 Pina Coladas and the free camera made not by Samsung or Cannon but by Sumdung or Crapon……………………………… may cost you more than you realize.
After dinner we went to see the show called Boogie Shoes. This is a high energy show featuring the Emerald’s dynamic dancers and sensational singers. The show is based on the word “shoes” and contains all the music you would expect with a shoe or foot reference in the title. I particularly enjoyed the Amadeus section but my favorite number was “these boots were made for walking,” which really showed off the casts energy and dance talents.
The show is complemented by all the bells and whistles and as I looked around the packed theatre I saw young and old all clapping and cheering and really enjoying the performance. Heidi and I were invited backstage after the show to meet the Dance Captain Tracy Goble. Tracy is in charge of rehearsing her cast of 12 dancers and four singers. She has been blessed with a very talented group of entertainers and I congratulated her and every single one of them on a great show.
Here are a few photos of the cast.

Cruise Director James and the cast

There are many areas of the ship I have not mentioned yet. The fantastic Shore Excursion program, the free popcorn served at the Movies under the Stars where tonight the teens will be playing Guitar Hero on the giant screen. There are Computer Classes at Sea, the Beautiful Chapel, Golf lessons and a Golf Simulator and much much more.
I met Joy the lady in charge of the youth program today. As I mentioned she is a cruise veteran having been with Princess for 18 years. We chatted about the challenges of making sure the kids had a great vacation. As we spoke the affection the kids felt for her was obvious when a family brought their son to the playroom and she was presented with a gift by this young 4 year old…………….it was a lovely cuddly stuffed rabbit…………the parents explained that he wanted her to have this rabbit as “aunty Joy” was nice…………………………now, that’s a sign of someone who has made a huge impression on someone so young and I am sure Joy will treasure her rabbit forever.
It had been an early morning with our Immigration call so after the show we took a walk on deck and then went for bed.
As I mentioned at the start of this blog thingy I had decided to give Heidi a special afternoon and what better place to do that then here on the Emerald Princess………………………….and what better place onboard than the Sanctuary.
Our double wide luxury sun bed had been reserved and as we prepared to relax I proved that those people who say that an insult is worse than physical pain are wrong…………..this proof came as I delivered a fun insult commenting that it was a good thing that we had a double wide sun lounger because of all the food she had eaten the last two days………………..the proof that pain is worse than any comment came as Heidi whacked me round the back of my head with a bottle of sun cream.
Anyway, there we lay …………..Heidi sipping on a glass of juice and me on a Diet Pepsi. I know I have blown the Sanctuary’s trumpet a blog or two ago but I must again comment on the young ladies and gentlemen who are there…………………….their welcoming smiles and discreet service are worth he $10 and that’s before they bring you drinks, food, cold towels and what ever your heart desires. Lunchtime came and Heidi’s day of luxury continued with a Tuna Salad delivered right to our doublewide and as she ate her salad I munched on the first healthy thing I had eaten in days……a cheeseburger.
After dinner Heidi moved to the sun and another bed while I went through my e mails on my raspberry. It had no service the day before and I now had 49 to reply to……………….bugger.
Three o’clock came and Heidi was excited to hear that I had booked her a back massage in one of the Cabanas at the Sanctuary followed by a Pedicure one deck down in the Emerald’s brilliant Spa.
Now, I have mentioned that I am not a massage type of guy and as for someone playing with my feet………………..well………………let’s just say I would find trying to make a living selling deodorant in Paris more relaxing………….. then having someone touch my plates of meat (cockney rhyming slang. )
However, Heidi loves that stuff and was thrilled that she now had a one hour session in the spa with some poor girl who obviously has a cheese fetish.
She returned from her two treatments absolutely glowing and showed me how I had spent my $75 by wiggling her toes which had been painted…………I am glad she had a good time but I could slapped on a bit of paint for half the price………………….anyway, this was her day so I smiled and said her feet looked beautiful.
Kellean, from Ocho Rios Jamaica, taking care of Heidi’s feet…poor sod
The evening continued with us sitting on our balcony and watching the sunset and then the most beautiful rainbow suddenly formed as we entered a rain storm………………..it was ………………. well…………….rather than listen to my poor attempt at describing both these stunning things ……..let’s have a look at some photos.
My wife was happy and that made me really happy as well …………….. except……………….$75 for a coat of paint……………..on a pair of feet?
Talking of balconies, we witnessed the guests just below us having their balcony set up for dinner…………..it looked stunning with a crisp white table cloth and all the trimmings. I asked Generoso the incomparable Senior Maitre’D about this program. He told me that a 4 course lobster dinner complete with butler service can be arranged for just $100 per couple……………….and if you prefer a champagne breakfast you can have this for $28 per person.
I can imagine all the George Hamiltons of this world romancing their ladies this way………………and I hope someone reading this blog thingy may decide that their partner is worthy of this perfect and stunning way to say………………”I Love You.”
I remember the time my best mate Alan tried to do something romantic. He had been dancing with this girl all night which in itself was a miracle for two reasons……………….one, a girl had met him and decided to stay and the fact after watching Alan dance which resembled someone getting the good news with a cattle prod she still seemed interested.
Now, I must comment that the dance club was dark with just the typical 1980’s strobe lighting up the dance floor, however Alan was in such a buoyant mood that a girl had actually talked and danced with him that he had not really read the ummmmm………….fine print. I was standing at the bar on my own…………………….no shocker there…………..but as Alan and his mystery date started a slow dance to Spandau Ballet’s “True “………….I suddenly saw Alan sprint to the bar and he said………………come on lets go……………..I was amazed that here was a decent looking lady who had met the world’s ugliest man and agreed to dance and from what I saw kiss him deeply ………….yet here was Alan leaving the club as quickly as he could.
Once outside we headed for the car and I asked him what had happened………………..now………………some of you more cynical people will be hoping that the lady he was dancing with was infact a man complete with meat and two vegetables ……………….. unfortunately not and who knows if that had been the case maybe
Alan would have stayed……………….however the reason Alan left so quickly is that he was only 18 and therefore did not have the £100 the lady required if indeed the evening was to continue ………………………. I tried not to laugh…………..but I could not help myself. Neither of us had been lucky in love…….Alan was about to say to this young lady “I Love You”………………instead he was heartbroken……………….I could tell………….I asked him if there was anything I could do to make him feel better………………..he looked at me and said…………………”Can I borrow £100?”
My time onboard is running out. Tomorrow the ship arrives in Barbados and at 2:30pm we will drive to the airport and take the Virgin flight back to London. I will write again in the morning before we go……………………….I don’t want to go……………………this has been an amazing experience and tomorrow I will reminisce as to why this ship has made a lasting impression on me and why I think this ship is surely one of the most fabulous cruise liners ……………………………….. in the world.
Cheers

John and Heidi,
Now I am sure you understand when 99% of cruisers say that they don’t want the trip to end and that they don’t want to get off!!
I am so glad that Heidi got some pampering! What a nice romantic thing for you to have done for her John. You say that you aren’t a very romantic person, but this proves you wrong. Have a safe flight and so glad to hear that you are on a Virgin flight and not on Easy Jet!! Looking forward to more blogs from “home”.
Sheryl
Hi John.
I remember in the dim, distant past, being in the same situation as Alan… it was at a hotel in Morocco, in the late 1970’s, I was 16, and boy oh boy – did I run!
It was £20 back then… but I still didn’t have enough pocket money… my first job, the year after, only paid £40 a week.
We’ve done the balcony dining thing a few times… dinner once, and maybe 3 champagne breakfasts… the dinner is absolutely awesome. The cover charge, already extremely good value, includes drinks of your choice as well as the champagne, includes the floral setting which you can keep throughout the cruise to brighten your stateroom, and even includes the price of a souvenir photograph!
All in all, much better value than the girl in Morocco…..
Quick question for you John – how do the cabins compare with those on the Freedom? Size wise primarily…
Sounds like you’re having a wonderful time – good boy spoiling Heidi like that!! Well done!! Sigh…I need anothr cruise! Going through withdrawls already and it’s only been a few weeks!
Cheers!
John,
I think Carnival has done a good job of enforcing the dress code. Specifically no shorts and no tshirts at dinner.
I think some people misunderstood suggested dress codes to be required dress codes.
Alan,
You can always go to my blog and post your side of this story or any of the stories John has dumped on you in. Hope your feeling a lot better and hope to see you on the 2009 Bloggers Cruise on the Carnival Fantasy sailing out of New Orleans. Would just love to make you a member of My Evil Krewe and help you get even with John.
BIG ED
Co-Star
John, I would just love the champagne breakfast but I hope it comes with robes that fit also. I would hate to sit on the balcony in my …….. uuummmm and be in port next to another ship. I just know by the time we get to the 2009 BC on the Carnival Fantasy there will be robes in the “these fit the rest” size available on all Carnival ships.

Robeless on Carnival
Now you know how we feel when our cruise is ending. Not a good feeling more if it has been excellent like this was. Sorry your cruise didn’t last longer but it seems you enjoy it a 100% and I hope you get to do it more often.
Well, John and Heidi, I hope your trip back home is good and that this new chapter you start tomorrow brings many blessing for you.
Un abrazo!
Nanni
Hi John,
We are so lucky to have you sharing your time aboard this oh-so-magical ship with us!!! I have lingered over every picture, and of course the descriptions only you could provide :>)
LOVE that balcony dining, what a fabulous idea!!! I think that would enhance ANY sailing!!
We are all sorry it has to end so soon for you and for Heidi who needed that break so badly. Savor the rest of your time on board, and safe travels home! On to Splendor, which of course will be a magical place as well!!! We can’t wait to see more of our new splendid Lady.
Hugs to you and Heidi,
Eva
As I was reading the story of Alan ….. I admit I was cynically thinking of the first possible explanation for his quickly departing the dance floor…..Not that I am overly cynical ….ok well maybe a little….
I will just say that it could theoretically happen ….. does happen…..did happen ….oh bugger!….
The grin on my friend’s face and the laughter that ensued when he warned me in a similar situation… me 18 years old …..an 80’s dance club …..darkness combined with an elixir induced vision…… and me dancing with a stunning gem….
John, so what have you seen or learned on Princess that you will be taking back to Carnival? Anything on Carnival that you will change or recommend be changed based on your experience on Carnival?
Big Ed,
Did you read my reply from your last posting? If not, it’s near
the end of “A Slice of Piazza”. Still need yours and everybody
elses help trying to figure out if I could make it to the ‘09
Bloggerscruise.
John,
You’re cruise on Princess, has sounded wonderful. BTW, my sister
and brother in law just come back about a month ago frm a Princess
cruise and loved it. They want to try Carnival next and
so I may be trying to plan a family cruise for sometime next year.
Hope to try to be on the ‘09 Bl;oggers cruise, please convince me !!!
buggers dude, you mean it’s time to PACK again already???
i just booked the splendor for thanksgiving week! (nudge nudge linda h!) you had better be on it! ha ha ha
smiles, bonnie and prince charlie
That was a lovely day for Heidi, complete with a “rainbow” ! Can’t get any better than that !
Do people really fall for all the “free stuff” ! Is Manhattan still being sold when you sail into NY ? Wow! Glad those folks got out of there in one piece !
I’ve just had my 100,000 hit on my Webshots site. Lots of cruise photos and videos, that’s what they’re all looking at….some info before they sail.
http://community.webshots.com/user/kkroll5
That’s my link above. Lots of other Carnival people on that site as well with their own pages. It helps configure your videos for e-mailing, that’s how I found them.
Have a safe trip back home……….
Kathy and Paul
Hi John: Well now you know how us cruisers feel when our cruise is coming to an end. What usually happens with us, the minute we get home we are ready to book our next cruise. So, they serve free popcorn on Princess. I though I had read Carnival was going to do that on the ships with the big screen but they didn’t on the Freedom? So you leave in Barbados to go back to the U.K. Have a safe trip and write more when you get home. Congrats on your making the grade in the husband dept. by pampering Heidi with the pedicure. Mike is watching on the Travel channel the video of the Inaugural cruise of Glory which we are on, and I am in part of that video entering a gift shop, just saw it on TV with Mike. He says of cause I would have been in one of the shops, where I spend a lot of time on board. HA! Linda
Boy John you must have been relaxed at the Sanctuary as unless you brought your own Diet Pepsi that was Diet Coke you were drinking. Princess only does Coke much to the delight of some of us.
Hi John & Heidi,
Glad you are having a good time but sorry to hear that it’s coming to an end. I’m glad you decided to pamper Heidi on this cruise…..I wondered if you might as she has been a good wife through all your “problems” lately. LOL Have a safe trip home tomorrow and keep on blogging.
Cindy
Kathy Kroll,
Congrats on the 100,000. Sure would be nice to see you in New Orleans for the 2009 BC.
BIG ED
John,
You are such a good hubbie!!! Nice of you to think of Heidi and all her hard work,,,,,,or,,,,are you trying to get out of the dog house?
Ciao, Kathleen
John, isn’t it a shame that events like this have to come to an end? That last day and evening of the cruise seem almost somber compared to other days. How sad.
I know that after 20 years sailing on cruise ships that you don’t suffer the pangs of post cruise depression like so many of us do but perhaps, just perhaps, in this one instance you might experience just a little touch of it.
Thanks so much for the adventure. The Emerald Princess is a gorgeous ship and seems to be blessed with a wonderful crew.
Please tell Heidi that her feet look… uhhh… uhhh… expensive! That and nicely painted! Also thank her for all the pictures that she’s taken. Today’s were the crowning glory. Lovely sunset, lovelier rainbow.
Pass along my ‘howdies’ and thanks to the wonderful Stephanie, the MOB!!!
Cheers, mate!
GregB
Just a quick note the webcam seems to be down. Have a safe trip back to London tomorrow.
Thanks
James
Ah, so now you have reached that depressing point that all cruisers must face – dry land!!
Oh, but for the availability of a free, lifetime suite pass to Carnival ships
JOHN AND BIG ED,
If February rolls around and Carnival still doesn’t have robes that “fit all”, I will make you each one and bring it along on the blogger’s cruise. I am planning on going, just haven’t signed up yet. I would hate to think of you on your balcony in the “all together”!
Sheryl
Hi John,
Have enjoyed cruising with you this week through the blog. I am so ready for our cruise in July. I agree that the worst part of a cruise is having to leave the ship.
The pictures have been fantastic. I especially enjoyed the ones of the rainbow. Those pictures reminded me of the rainbow we saw on the Holiday in 2005. We were caught in the first tropical storm, Arlene, that year and spent an extra day at sea. After the storm had passed, we saw a rainbow and it was very beautiful.
My husband and I spent in week in Las Vegas in March. It was not our first choice of what we wanted to do, but since he had a conference to attend and we did not have to pay for him, we went. We just had to pay for my airfare and eats. We found the food on the cruise is better. We did not go to any shows because they would have cost us over $100 per person. We could not afford it. That is what we like about cruising. Everything is included. We could have both taken a cruise for what the hotel room cost for 5 nights and that would have included our food and shows.
We have noticed that the Conquest is going to be doing an Eastern Caribbean cruise once every 4 weeks. We love the itinerary and we were wondering if there is any chance that a ship from New Orleans and/or Mobile might also offer this itinerary? We consider Mobile and New Orleans to be our home port and would love a cruise that goes to Key West and the Bahamas. If Carnival can do one from Galveston, then surely they can do it from Mobile or New Orleans.
Have a safe trip home. I am looking forward to reading about the Splendor. Hope to cruise with you one day.
Good evening Mr. Heald. Well it’s the time that all cruisers hate the most, the end of their cruise. It’s begin exciting for all of us to travel along with you on the Emerald Princess. Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. Enjoy your flight home and we’ll be looking forward to you being onboard the Splendor. Once again we didn’t meet this year, but we will someday and I’ll be looking forward for that moment. Thank you for all your extra work on the blog and most of all, I really appreciate Heidi for being the person that really runs the show like most of the wives. Without them, we wouldn’t know what to do. Ciao my friend and Heidi.
Paul F. Pietrangelo
What wonderful sunset and rainbow pics.
Have a safe trip home. Good thing you aren’t on BA into terminal 5 – loads and loads of problems since the opening Thursday.
John, I’m sorry that it is time to pack again, but I know you will be glad to see family and friends in London, again. The sunset pictures were beautiful, thank you for sharing. You earned quite a few attaboys for the pampering you gave Heidi! Way to go!
Out of curiosity, when was the last time that you got to be a passenger on a cruise, and not an employee. Very different, isn’t it! It seems that you did evernthing possible to enjoy it to the max! Thank you for taking us along.
John & Heidi,
It’s been a while since I was able to access your blog via computer…… Looks like Mr. Bell has buggered off, and I’m glad to hear that you are doing much better. I recently came back from vacation and have been so busy lately. But, I have been keeping up with your blogs while I was away through my cell phone’s Web browser. I didn’t have a computer with me, nor an internet cafe nearby…
Thanks for sharing your experiences with Princess Cruises. With everything you have gone over… from the food, to the outstanding service… you have inspired me to look into it. Being a big fan of Italian food, that menu you went over sounded fantastic and the pictures are making me hungry. The ship does indeed look beautiful and that Sanctuary would be the first thing I check out.
It was great to hear from you, Heidi. Hope to hear from you more often, and I’m glad that you and John are having a great time onboard! Love all the great pictures!
Now you know why having to leave the ship is so hard. You have such a great time and you just want to stay there forever. Soon it will be time to prepare for the Splendor, which I’m truly excited about, thanks to the info from PA 007. At least, you will be flying Virgin Airlines, and not on the “lifeboat on steroids”…
Have a safe trip back home and, as always, I look forward to your next blog!
Good Night
Alex G.
Big Ed !
There you are, haven’t heard from you in awhile!
Thanks a bunch! Yes, we need another cruise since we had to cancel The Splendor trip . I’m working on Lee ( “Paul” for you bloggers) ! I was really looking forward to The Splendor ! Oh well……
Kathy and Paul ( Lee Paul )
Hi John,
I’m soooo happy that you & Heidi got to experience a non-working cruise. You are both so deserving of a trouble free cruise! Also, it’s wonderful that Heidi got her special pampering. It’s one of the things that makes cruising so special.
Hi John & Heidi, Have a safe trip home.
For Empress Bee of the Seas, I just booked my cruise also for Thanksgiving week, the rooms are going fast, and not much selection left, they are a bit pricey too. I usually get a balcony room but I got an inside room this time, but we can’t wait to go! See you then! Linda
John & Heidi
I am so glad that we got an inside scope on the Emerald Princess, we might even consider going on it next year. Glad to see that you and Heidi had some relaxing time.
Love,
Suzann
Hi John.
I must praise you for the wonderful day you gave Heidi. I’m sure that she felt truly loved and like a princess. Wish you would teach Don how to arrange things like this…..
I’m glad you got to spend these few days to rest and enjoy yourselves. You both deserve the rest. You spend so many of your waking hours making sure others are entertained and happy, even if they are impossible to deal with. We won’t mention the ones I am referring to…..
When Heidi has time I would appreciate it if she would tell us about the activities for 15+ teens. I have a grandaughter that is wanting to cruise, but will not get to on the BC2 with us and her mom and dad. Maybe next time, after DIL checks it out.
176 days until our next cruise and I’m having withdrawls …..
Carolyn
John, John, John…when will you learn that when the urge takes over to make some flip, funny remark to Heidi (or any woman really) about her weight just say NO
Thank you for the voyeuristic view into cruising on Princess. It is now on my list for sooner rather than later.
Safe flight back home to Heidi and yourself!
Dawn
HI John & Heidi,
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy cruising with you. We
sailed with you for the 3rd time a few weeks ago on the Freedom. What a wonerful ship. Spring breakers were a bit “energetic”, but fun, none the less.
Your bout with Mr. Bells did not distract from the quality and fun we always have had with you and your staff. The Beatles show was probably the best show we have
seen in all of our 10 Carnival and 1 Princess cruises. It absolutley amazing.
We just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks and god bless. We read your blog everyday, and are happy things are working out for you.
We will look for you on our next cruise.
Again, Thank you!!
Betty and Rick
John and Heidi,
Have a safe trip back to London and thank you again for sharing your most wonderful week with us and all the great pcitures.
A bit of sad news: Just wanted to let you know Nelson’s Mum passed away last night and we were with her and it was peaceful.
Love Paula and Nelson Baker
John:
I know you have missed my postings (ha ha).
We have been on vacation/business meeting in Destin, Florida (a land vacation) and just returned.
David and DJ had a great time deep sea fishing; however, I must say that every time we take a land vacation….it only confirms how much better a cruise vacation is.
We stayed at “The Grand Sandestin”. And it was a nice hotel suite. There was a full kitchen (complete with a garbage disposal, dishwasher and a washer and dryer). Now as you can tell from my title….I don’t do housework at home. I certainly am not going to do it on vacation.
There are all kinds of restaurants and shops there at the hotel in Baytown Village that cost an arm, a leg and part of your thigh (wear the wallet sits). I am sure they are wonderful, but DJ is very picky about what he will eat.. He will eat pizza, which was $6.00 a slice. But most times we had to leave “the complex” to get him the every day food he will eat. And every time you left the “complex” to go to a McDonald’s or putt putt golf or drive go carts, you had to fight 3 lanes of bumper to bumper traffic …. and this wasn’t even the busy season.
Even staying inside “the complex”, if you want to go golfing, go play tennis, go to the spa or to karaoke…you either have to wait on the shuttle to take you there and bring you back OR you have to take your car and hope you can find a parking place.
They place one “package of coffee” and two “packets of sugar and creamer” in your suite.
So if you want any more coffee than that, you have to buy it.
To top it all off, the room alone costs more per person per day than an OV on a Carnival ship. Then you pay extra for any food, coffee and snacks. Then you pay extra for putt putt. Then you pay extra (cover charge) to go to many of the entertainment spots they have.
We won’t even go into details about the lack of service.
This is our 4th time there (because this is where the meeting is held) but that is the only reason we go back. If we had our choice about the matter, the next meeting would be on a Carnival Cruise Ship!

Hi John,
We just returned from the 3/22 Freedom sailing (it’s 1st week without you). You sure left it in good hands. We had such a great week. James and Mel are a great team and Carnival is so lucky to have Ron Pass. I had too many fun ship specials the last night and I filled out my comment card too quickly. After filling in “exceeded expectations” for all categories, I quickly wrote down just Mel & James for outstanding people. I was in such a hurry, but I wanted to say something about the cruise director, Noortja (sp?). She was awesome! Our 12 yr old son was sure that a “girl” could not be a good cruise director. Well, after seeing her do the cha cha slide at the deck party, he was in love. Anyway, she was such a beautiful and classy lady, and very friendly and approachable. It was obvious that she got along well with the jr. cruise directors and we all really liked her. Please send this to her since we forgot to write it on our comment cards. She was so sweet to my 9 yr old son when he called her during her afternoon show to tell her that he liked French Toast! They just loved her. Tell her Reed Christensen (not Reece) says “hello”. Where is she going after Todd takes over the Freedom? I didn’t see her name on your CD list. Thanks John,
Peggy
John…
Balcony dining… how wonderful… What a great way to have an intimate and delicious meal… and such can make a female melt… But YOU could SEE on to it… hummmm… possibly, in room service would be fine!!
As your time on board the Emerald comes to an end… ours does, too. I look forward to your next experience and our next voyage with you!! Keep ‘em coming, or you’ll find many of us going through withdrawls!!
Heidi your toes are worth it and so are you!!! I can just see you wiggling them in John’s face!!
All my best to you, Heidi, and Stephanie behind the scenes!!

Dear John
What a perfect ending to a wondrful cruise, it is what all of us bloggers and land lubbers face at the end of our cruises. The pictures were beautiful, the sunset truely magnificant. Thank you for sharing. Have a safe trip back to Europe

Hi John & Heidi,
It was so nice to see you on the Freedom. We had a wonderful cruise, just not the same without you. Only one problem with the cruise when we arrived back in Miami somehow our luggage dissapeared
.
Sounds like you are having a great cruise. I am glad you and Heidi are getting the rest you both deserve.
Have a safe trip home.
Tom & Michelle
How nice of you to let Heidi be the Princess for a day… now if i can only get my hubby to do the same…
The rainbow was just beautiful! Hope you guys have a safe trip back!
Hi John/Heidi:
Great pictures in the blog today and it sounds like your Emerald voyage was very enjoyable.
I am glad you guys had a nice chance to relax and recover a bit from a hectic season.
I look forward to hearing from you as your make your way across the pond.
Thanks for a great blog and hope everything else is going well.
Take care,
David
Hi John:
Just a quick question: Was there a pool in the Sanctuary area? Inquiring minds want to know . . .
