John — When you want to wish someone a “good trip” you say “gute fahrt”. The traffic reports on German radio all end that way and of course, it’s juvenile, but it used to crack us up, too. Gute fahrt!
Wonderful photos!!
I like the waterborne version of McDonalds!!

Oh… the memorial… that brings back more painful memories… such a wonderful memorial…
John,
It looks like that horse was trying to instigate something… Don’t tell me it said something about your mama. BigMike gonna have to come down there and kick some horse a$$.

Wow. That sweet horse looks like our Montgomery. I’m sure he really wanted to be friends – as long as you didn’t try to ride him. Once in a small town in Italy we saw a shop with a picture of a horse hanging in front. Of course this would be a tack shop so we entered to look for something to take home for our horses. It was a butcher shop! Yuck. Jeri
Hi John!
Excellent pictures.
Thank you for posting and thinking of us
David
Hello,
Great photos, thanks for sharing.

Hello John,
I don’t know if comments get read when I submit the them days after the blog is posted, so we’ll see. I’m sitting with Mom while we catch up on your thingy. I just wanted to thank you again for all you do for us. Yes this morning we’ve laughed & cried yet again.
I only wanted to ask when possible that you take the extra time and put captions on the photos as you did today. I know, it’s probably a bother, but it really helps us to understand what it is we are looking at especially if they come days after the blog.
Keep up the great work…. brilliant always!
Andrea
PS Our goal is to be caught up by tomorrow; however, since we love reading your blog and sometimes wish we COULD read many at once we have now have a new goal. Once we’ve caught up to also start at the very beginning…. good thing we’re less than a year behind, huh? Maybe we’ll have them ALL read before the Bloggers Cruise.
