My Mate Radu…..A Brilliant Photographer
What a long 14 days it has been but oh how rewarding. I will have time to write a few raspberry-flavored blogs from the coach tomorrow as we start our last day.
I am going to say goodnight by showing you a few photos. They are random………..from all the places we have visited and have been taken by a great friend of mine Radu who is the Carnival fleet’s best photographer………….his work will be displayed on the Carnival Splendor during an exhibition and in my opinion………he should have his work published.
Please excuse this short blog, it’s 11 pm and I have to be up at 6 am…………I promise to write more tomorrow.
Her are some of my mate Radu’s photos
Goodnight
Your friends
John and Heidi

Hi John and Heidi
It has been wonderful experiencing your travels throughout Europe. I can hardly wait for my cruise next year on the Liberty. (Of course, I have 4 or 5 more before then…LOL)
Such wonderful pictures from Radu. He is the BEST! I am planning to ride the Ferris Wheel, but it looks pretty tall, and I am afraid of heights…oh well, it is a chance of a life time.
I am looking forward to more blogs. Give my best to Heidi. Until next time, take care of each other!!

WOW, fantastic pictures – my favorites were the dancers and the ferris wheel. He is a great photographer, and he needs a showing of his work! Carnival should do this for him. Glad his work will be displayed on the Splendor, hope I get to see them in November 2008 when we are on the Thanksgiving week cruise. Fabulous Radu! Thank you for sharing them with us John! Great pictures Radu, and your’s also Heidi.
John your blogs have been terrific, even the raspberry short blogs that you seem to think you have to apologize for. They have been brilliant. I have enjoyed your trip immensely. There is so many places that you have been that I would love to see, but that will never be.
As your trip winds down, I am sure you have to be exhausted. I pray that there is some much needed rest for you and Heidi soon.
Sleep well.

John -
I set the picture of the bridge at sunset as my wallpaper on my computer. I hope your friend Radu does not come chasing me for royalties.
Get some rest, friend. You don’t want that French malcontent, Monsieur La Bell pour retourner.

I know this is off the subject, but a few years ago you mentioned writing a book called “All Aboard, John’s cruise adventures”; was this ever written and published? I am awaiting this big event so I may purchase a copy. I am sure every one of your adoriny fans would LOVE to know.
Your biggest fan,
Laura.

MY JAW HAS FALLEN ON THE FLOOR… let me pick it up…
BRILLIANT!!! WOW!!!
I don’t have the words to express how wonderful, how beautiful those “captured moments of life and time” are…
These are more than photos… this are glimpses and captured emotions or life and the world…
Thank you!!!

Great pictures, thank you for sharing them with us. I know that each one of them has a little bit of Radu’s soul. Like you said, I would like to see them published one day, too. They will be for sure an inspiration for the people cruising with the Splendor and for everybody else who can see them.

Need some advice I had a problem which I want to bring to Carnivals attention, would really like a personal answer who should I talk to or write to to be heard? Love carnival will continue to love carnival but would like to let the powers that be,be aware Tried while I was on the ship but really got the run around, have never complained before, Do you have a suggestion.
