Hello John,

Have to agree with Bob & Dianne about the beds on the Freedom. They were very comfortable and I slept like a baby when I wasn't touring the ship!

So how is Mr. & Mrs Ohio? I sure do miss being there.

Keep the blogs coming when you can I know you will be very busy. Take care John & Heidi!!

How comfortable are Carnival beds? Well, for us, they were so comfortable we didn't even notice until after three nights. LOL

Discomfort you notice. And, believe me, we notice it most everywhere we travel. Our Carnival beds were so comfortable they almost escaped our notice completely. But they're the #1 reason we returned to your line.

We've had the Carnival pillows and duvet/cover for over a year now. Love it and sleep well. Didn't spring for the mattress but I surely would like to do so. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying the Carnival beds.

Buon gionio amico mia Mr. Heald. You should have taken the train. Even though it was going to be 7 hours, it would have been 7 hours of relaxful time with your beautiful wife. Oh well, Maybe you're right taking the plane. How are you making out with your diet with all the tremendous Italian food around you everyday? I'm so excited with the Splendor. I can't wait for your first blog about it. About Mrs. Michelle Garner and the Carnival bed, I also have had some problems but everytime I've taken a cruise I've placed my head on their pillows and went to sleep very quickly as if I'm in heaven. I think that I'll be able to now buy some of those pillows. Thank you for telling us where to get them. Ciao.

Hi John/Heidi:
Hair One? Ugh...What a thought.
At least his hair will make it out safely (and neat).
Looking forward to hearing more.
I will not be buying a carnival bed or sheets anytime soon, but different strokes for different folks.
Thanks for another great blog!

Ahhhhhhhhhh John and Heidi,
It is so great to take a break from the housework and dream we're on a cruise with you two. Your descriptions of everything makes me feel we are right there with you. But the buzz from the washer and dryer soon bring me back to reality and the housework that is still to do.
I read of the great meals that you have had, while I'm trying to figure out what to cook for us. No matter what I decide to fix, it isn't anything as marvelous or tasty as the meals your chefs prepare.
Don't forget to let us know if you are going to still be on the Splendor when we cruise the last of Nov. As much as I look forward to the Sept cruise, the anticipation is nothing compared to the excitement of sailing on the new Splendor.
Well it is 112 days until our next cruise when I can relax and let someone else do the cooking, make the bed and pick up whatever I have dropped. Cruising is wonderful. sighhhhhhhhhhhhh
Well enough of this dreaming, the dryer just buzzed and the ironing is waiting to be done.

Carolyn....... who would love to have a maid and a chef..
