When I got home and unpacked and i realized that i forgot to turn in mu comment card. everything was great but my boyfriend and I had a few suggestions. 1. Maybe at night you can open the slide and a pool for adults only like from 9- to 12. On the big screen maybe play more sporting events! my family loves going to the sports bar but they never had good sports on maybe put more then one thing on and playing sports that are going on that night. for example the Atlanta Braves were on espn sunday night but yall taped it and played it the next day at 12. play it live. or maybe you could have put it in the bigscreen. Just a few suggestions! everything was great we love carnival and dont cruise any other line! Hey John!

We truly enjoyed the ship and feel it is an architectural marvel. The state rooms are wonderful with the must up to date facilities. To be on this inaugural (repositioning) cruise around Cape Horn was unbelievable. Great ports, great cruise staff and crew. The captain did a splendid - splendor job of navigating the treacherous seas of the cape and Straights of Magellan (we encountered 94 mph winds out of Ushaisa on the way to Punta Arenas, you wouldn't have known until you heard the report) and the views and experience were those you only experience once in a lifetime. Again we had a terrific time. I would like to offer some constructive criticism - being that I felt the food in the Lido buffet was substandard to other cruises and lines that I have experienced. It baffles me that they would shut down the "burger grill" at approximately 5pm and the chicken rotisserie and not have them open for an extended period since these seem to be very popular food venues with the passengers. Also I feel the pizza offering left a lot to be desired. (If the ship is going to be primarily focused on southern California and the Mexican Riviera, I would suggest that they review these items and get them ready for passengers that love burgers, grille and pizza. Over all, I would highly recommend the Splendor and the experience was terrific. If you get a chance to travel Mexico and South America on it, "Take-it" you won't be disappointing.
