Oppss!!! Funny!! Leave it and put a camera there. I can imagine the reaction of some people. It’s funny just to think about it.

  2. I LOVE those hand dryers. Feels like it’s going to rip your flesh off but really get’s your hands dry quickly.

This video was too funny. Thanks John.

    John:

    That is TOOO funny.

I do remember these monster dryers on the Imagination. I had to constantly check to make sure I still had the skin on my hand.

These are definately dryers that get the hands dry though…you have to give them that!!!

Linda (Mom of DJ ~ cheated on the diet today at our favorite Mexican restaurant~ AFTER walking 5 miles!!)

  7. LambKnuckles says:

    John…

Oooooo… love those Italians!!! They keep life silly!!!

    Lambie

  8. Host Mach says:

    That was hilarious!!

It looks like technology escaped the engineers in this case…

I’d leave it the way it is. Should the engines on ship shut down you could strap the hand dryer to the stern and use it as a jet!!

  9. Linda Hernacki says:

I hope the Lady’s rooms are not equipped that way! Too funny! Linda

  10. Lauren in Oregon says:

Can someone please convert the USA Character Fantasy video to You Tube? It locks up in WordPress.

  12. Hi Lauren in Oregon,

We don’t have the rights to put it on YouTube (USA Network owns the video). If you have anything else open on your computer while you’re trying to view the video close them, hopefully that will help. Let me know if it doesn’t.

    Stephanie

  13. Charlotte says:

    John & Heidi,

    Loving the videos.
It was nice of you John to point out that the Splendor has one flaw. The good thing is it is an easy fix, just have to move the trash. I can’t stop laughing.

    Good sailing, Heidi and John!

    Charlotte

  14. "BIG" ED says:

John, if this video goes on utube it will get more hits then your blog. I bet that will be changed or a lid but on the basket.

    BIG ED

  15. Brilliant people you have there putting the ship together there Mr. Heald. I couldn’t stop laughing at this particular video. It’s so nice to see you and Heidi laughing and smiling after your hectic work schedule Your videos are fantastic and they’re just what the doctor ordered. I love, love love. I hope they have put the safety bars in the proper areas and not once again over the toilet. Ciao my friend.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

    *deep breath*

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I literally laugh out loud watching this one.

I wonder if you have a television show in England like our “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (actually, I am not even certain it still is on here!)….honestly, I think that one could be a grand prize winner!

    Too funny!

    Terri

  17. Princess Susan says:

    John & Hedi,
That has got to be the funniest thing I have seen in a long time!!! I now must go and clean off the Diet Coke from my screen!!
    Princess Susan
Hi Stephanie…got the spelling right this time…sorry.

  18. "BIG" ED says:

Heidi, tell me that’s not you cackling in the background. I seem to hear that same cackle in the background of most of the videos.

    BIG ED

  19. John , RALMHO, you are nothing but hilarious. You’ve found a new toy…. lol

    Carolyn
Heidi it’s so great to see you even if it is your reflection in a mirror.

  20. ….. well I will have to pass ont that show… thanks for sharing that was truly funny

    Heidi-Beth

  21. Mal and Lex from Western Australia says:

Now that’s funny. Flip the nozzle upside down and watch all the bad toupees and combovers fly!

See you all in four paydays or nine Saturdays, folks!

    Cheers,
    Mal and Alexis

  22. Flip Flop Cruise Queen says:

    John and Heidi,
Thanks for the laughs!! OMG, who designed the location of that??? Must have been a man! No offense, John! I needed a good laugh today, and you have certainly provided that! Heidi, check out the ladies rooms and see if the hand dryers are placed in the same location. Well, if nothing else, we women could go to the men’s rooms and get our hair dried with the “messy look” quite quickly now, couldn’t we?!! Maybe some could be installed out by the pools.
John, I think I am with loads of other blogger faithfuls in anxiously awaiting the return of the great stories of the crazy things the guests do an say on board, and you answering questions on the blog. We miss that interaction with you!
Thanks to all of you for all you do!
    Sheryl

  23. Great Video, even though it took me 15 0r 20 minutes to view it. Thanks for the laughs!!!

    Suefrom Narrowsburg

PS: Stephanie Please Reply if you can: why am I having such trouble viewing the videos also. Is it because my connection is too slow? (dial up)

  24. Luis & Maria Torres says:

    Thanks Heidi & John,

That was to funny. It is amazing what things we find that were overlooked before opening up something new. Other than that those things are great, might even peel off a layer of your skin (LOL). Take care and Maria and I can’t wait for 15 November when we try out the Splendor.

  25. girldoc says:

John, you are causing me to spew liquids at my computer….How funny!!

  26. Jane says:

Great video! Too funny! Thanks for sharing.

I have a question if anyone knows the answer. We are sailing on the Glory in the beginning of October. I have heard a rumor that the Glory will be getting the Big screen LED TV outside in the fall. Does anyone know if this is true and when exactly?

  27. Timoneer says:

You should submit it to “America’s Funniest Home Video’s”. It could win the $10,000 prize!

  28. Rikki Boyce says:

So funny I had to call in hubby for a replay.

Those crazy engineers. What will they come up with next?

  29. John says:

That is an example of the law of unintended consequences….. :)

  30. Tucker says:

They must have used Aggie engineers in the design of the ship.

    Tucker in Texas

  31. Slickabrina says:

So many other things I should be doing but am instead catching up on the blog…and this was so worth the procrastinating!

  32. Robin in New York says:

THAT was just hysterical. I sat here alone at the computer cracking up, along with everyone in the background of your video–it was contagious laughter! What genius of shipboard engineering failed to figure out the consequences of putting that trash bin under the drier?

  33. Mark says:

Oh Good Lord….Too funny!!!!! Makes you think ……….what were they thinking when they designed that bathroom layout.

  34. That is TOOOOOOOOOO funny.

I have watched that about 10 times.

People here at work are now watching it too and they have never read the blog before.

    Love it.

    D

  35. Hi Sue frm Narrowsburg,

Yes, your internet connection does effect your ability to view the videos. Make sure all of your other internet “activities” are closed/not active.

    Stephanie

  36. Mark Twain and a Half says:

    John,
You’ve got it all wrong! The self-launching towels aren’t a mistake, they’re Carnival’s way of giving a ticker tape parade to the pax!

  37. dwa76 says:

    Hi John/Heidi:
That would be great if you setup the secret spycam and twisted it upwards.
It would be so funny to see all those toupes flying.
    Great video blog today.
Thanks for taking the time to post.
    Hope you’re doing ok.
    Take care,
    David

  38. Carol Schoenberger says:

John (& Heidi, I hear you laughing),

That was hysterical. Jon, that may be the first complaint from a passenger on the Splendor.

    C.

  39. Alex G. says:

Wow, I remember those things! They installed them in my senior year in high school back in 2002. I’ve heard those things go off from the other end of the hall, because they’re so loud! Never thought of putting the wastebasket under it though, LOL!!! Great video!

    Alex G.

  40. Annie the Frenchie says:

That is super funny! Men beware, I will be cheking out your bathroom as instructed by John!

Annie and daughter Marianne who can’t wait to get on the Splendor July 25th.
