Just out of curiosity, do you know if you will be launching the Dream? I know you cannot predict the future, but surely you must have an idea?

Wonderful blog thingy. And don’t you change any of your talks or jokes. They are informative, funny, useful and if you ever left something out, there would probably be a bunch of people who would complain.

People are so PC & sensitive now but I can’t believe anyone would think that in your job/in the public eye/as a representative of Carnival cruise lines that you are foolish enough to condone or promote the use of drugs (whether you use them or not!) I personally would have laughed at the 2 older ladies in the coffee shop story.

I am hoping I can find a photo I took with you on a cruise long long ago so I can bring a copy to show you. We were both younger and probably thinner in the photo!

I’ve been away for a few days so have been catching up on blog reading.

As for the marijuana joke, Catherine Ebert said it all better than I ever could. In addition, just imagine how many people would have been upset had you not mentioned the “Coffee Houses”. I can just see a group of ultra-conservative people going in to have a cup of coffee & being shocked right out of their socks. And, of course, it would have been your fault. I’m pretty sure that some people, even before they leave home, make up their minds to find something to gripe about.

As for public smoking…………….please, please don’t make us smokers give up any thing more. There is currently a thread on Cruise Critic asking if smoke is an issue on board a Carnival ship. I was absolutely amazed at the number of reasonable non-smokers who said they never had a problem with those who smoked. Most, if not all, said that the smell of smoke was very offensive to them but that it was not all that hard to find a smoke free area inside & that in outside areas the smoke was quickly blown away by the wind. It’s just the moaners & groaners who scream the loudest.

Only 97 days before we sail on the Splendor (that will be our 12th Carnival cruise)!! In 632 days we cruise on the Dream and have 2 other Carnival cruises booked in between.

Will you be sailing on the transatlantic cruise?

Speaking of breakfast…I’ve seen Belgium waffles on the menus provided by Bill. Does that mean they are also on the Lido deck?
