Hello everyone
You may have seen that I sent the video of the welcome aboard talk from last cruise by mistake………..silly bugger.
So, with apologies for the delay here is the correct one from yesterday including the smallest husband in the world.
My blog will be slapped on later tonight
Cheers
John

Hi, John!
I saw the news about NOLA… Triumph with 4, 5 and 7 day sailings!! Nice… now, if we could get one of the two Bahamas ports changed to Half Moon Cay for both the Triumph AND the Conquest I’d be in heaven!!!
Thanks for the new video!!
Host Mach
That was great! Why didn’t think of leaving Don at home and taking a likeness!
Also, John, on the Blogger’s cruise, I’ll help you work on your Texanese.
Please answer:
On the Spirit, will the casino be open while doing the Alaskan itinerary?
Will I have to exchange currency in Vancouver, or will they accept USD?
Regarding shore excursions, does Carnival hold a few spots for the more popular excursions, for those who book late?
Thanks so much!
great video john no problem with wrong one lol
good luck to anyone in florida area with tropical storm fay and all the rain and wind
That was great never thought of that before…..this is one guest i’m sure you will never forget….maybe you should find out where she got it and post the site so we can leave the husbands home. haha
John please answer. Great Video THanks Hi John I would like those questions answered also about spirt I am leaving in three weeks! Also, could you ask Bubba what kind of clothing, My husband says WINTER COAT But I don’t believe I will need that what kind of clothing should I pack??
My granddaughter wants me to travel with Flat Stanley when I head to the Med in Oct. Have you ever met him? I took him to Disney last fall and he had a great time. He is similar to the above mentioned “man” but got squashed hence his name”Flat Stanley. His “disability” allows him to travel all over, even in an envelope, if necessary.
There is a book written about him and it is a favorite school project for elementary age children to see all the places he can travel.
We are very pleased to have the Triumph in New Orleans as we have missed the Conquest greatly.
Several new ports have also been added. Yea!!!

Thanks John, great video.
Update on Fay in Florida – my nephew just called me. He’s at Disney World and said it was drizzling. Supposed to get worse later & tomorrow. He’s more worried about flying back to NY on Saturday.

John:
That was well worth waiting for!! LOL
Linda
cheryl,
Pack summerfallwinterspring clothes. Say Hi to Bubba for us all.
BIG ED
Hey, ya’ll (John and Heidi),
We say that in Tennessee, too, which is where I was born and lived until I was 19. Then moved to Florida. I still say it. You can take the country out of the ….
Great video. That lady is too clever. Wonder if she had the doll made to look like her hubby, i.e., beard, etc.? Great idea.
And “one size fits ya’ll” is pretty cute, too. Again I ask, does this stuff just pop into your head or have you been using it for years or do you have a writer who whispers in your ear?
Fay (whom I earlier called Frances, [whoops!]) has turned out to be “much ado about nothing” here in the Orlando (Clermont) area much to Scott’s dismay (he was hoping for a little excitement), but who’s to say she won’t crank it up a notch once she’s over the Atlantic again and then turns west to visit north Florida? I hope she’s as kind there as here as most of our family lives in Jacksonville.
So…I’ll check back later since you said your post will be slapped on this evening. Looking forward to it!
Your Pal, Myra
dude, your lesson in southern for today:
“y’all” is singular
“all y’all” is plural
“all y’all’s” is plural possessive
(note, all y’all’s is the only word in the english language with two apostrophies)
smiles, bonnie and prince charlie
That was too funny. Was on a cruise once with a lady that brought along a ceramic dog and dressed it different for each activity on the ship. I have enough trouble packing for myself.
Y’all is singular and plural John but I’m not sure about the one size fits y’all.
Big Ed, I’ve heard that we will completely go through all seasons on the South America cruise so packing will be a challenge.
You said it all Bonnie & Prince Charlie! Got to love the south, and I’ll get there asap. Here in the north we say “you guys” and that just kills my southern friends.
Hey John,
Thanks for the video!
Jan
John, speaking of “one size fits ya’ll” how are the robes coming for “these fit the rest of “all y’all’s” .

Hi John/Heidi:
Thanks for posting the updated video.
I love reading “southern speak”. Being from Dallas, I know all about it.
Hope all is well.

Hi John,
well we’ve just come back from our August 6th-18th cruise and all I have to say is a huge thanks to you, the crew, the captain and carnival for once again making this an extra special fun filled, relaxing, yummie and enjoyable cruise.
Your performances with Dick Little, Mary etc were great and I for one enjoyed every minute of them. Thanks for sending over a bottle of champagne to our cabin together with a picture of the ship signed by yourself and the ship on a stick thingy. We really appreciated it. And thanks for reading my son’s Mark’s letter on your last morning show on the ship and sending him a little something……that really meant alot !!!!!!
Just one thing John ….what ever happened to that couple who ended up missing the ship in Helsinki and had to join us in Warnemunde…….did they manage to get on board ????
Anyway thanks again and really hope to meet up with you as cruise director on another fun filled Carnival Cruise.
Cheers
