Perhaps you remember Larry & Judy Snapp - you went back and forth with them for the 12 days last year, and the previous years, too. They send their best, by the way. My question is, we are all on the Splendor South America cruises - yes,all 49 days - and we were assured you would be there, too. Now, with all this stuff on the blogger's cruise, how can you be there in Feb, but be on the Splendor, too? Are you cloning yourself? Or do we all now have to cancel our South American adventure, 'cause you're not there????? Please respond, since final payment is due soon. I have heard of your blog for sometime now but have never visited it before now. We are loyal Carnival cruisers and I am sorry that this is my first visit to this site. Unfortuneately it will be a year before our next booked cruise, so I have lots of time to read up on your entertaining site. We last cruised on the Conquest and that is also our next voyage. I just hope Samuel is still waiting tables when we go!!! I think you would be a real hoot (are my Southern roots showing that statement?) to meet in person!!! I must hang my head in shame. I have sailed on many cruise lines (I'm a travel agent) but for some reason have missed sailing on Carnival. All that is going to change when I sail on the Victory on the 27Sep08. My question is... having never sailing on Carnival before...what should I expect on Formal night? Since this is the Canada/New England cruise will it be more formal than the Caribbean or will the attire be mostly suits? I own a tux, but if I don't have to pack it, so much the better. Also if you could recommend some wonderful shore excursions, that would be great. Something unique. I'm looking forward to this cruise very much and seeing the Carnival difference.
