  1. Hi John & Heide
It has been a while! Sharon here, from Canada! Remember the Timmie’s. Ah now I have your attention. I hope Heide is well and hopefully we’ll see you again. We just booked the Dream for the Transatlantic crossing.

  2. Thanks For the day DREAMING Video’s

  3. I’m just off the 9/21/2008 sailing of the Carnival Pride down to the Mexican Riviera. This was my second cruise on Carnival and I had a wonderful time. I originally intend to write a complaint regarding the treatment of an employee by her supervisor during the early check-in process on the Queen Mary. However, I have instead decided to write about our disembarkation talk, as it serves as the main reason why I will sail Carnival again. During the countless PA announcements telling everyone one to attend the disembarkation talk, the CD teased that there would be an announcement that only came around once every 30 years. Well my curiosity got the better of me and so I attended the talk to see what this announcement would be. Come to find out a server who is known as ‘Mr. Kim’ was retiring at the end of our cruise after 30 years of service with Carnival. Doing some quick math Mr. Kim has been with Carnival from almost the beginning.

During dinner on our last night I noticed that Mr. Kim was serving tables across from where I was sitting. As dinner was winding down and people were leaving the dinning room I found myself observing Mr. Kim, wondering what someone does on their last day of work during after 30 years of service. As I got up to leave the dining room I looked back again to see Mr. Kim at his serving station wrapping silverware in napkins, probably similarly to how he has down every night throughout his long career with Carnival. It was this small moment that I realized why Carnival is at the top of the league in the cruising business. Mr. Kim and the countless other Mr. Kim’s working for Carnival are the heart and sole behind this company and their dedication to their work is what makes the cruising experience for the guests so exceptional. I wish Mr. Kim a wonderful retirement, and only hope that the company that he has worked for so many years sends him off in a manner that is fitting.
