Up until now, my only mental picture of you has been a combination of the photos and videos on your blog blended with a collage of cruise directors I've sailed with in the past. Now, the next time I read one of you humorous encounters with an unruly cruise passenger, I'm going to be picturing your role played by Catherine Tate.Come to think of it, I'd like to let her Lauren character loose on a few of those unbelievable guests! And hopefully you've seen Catherine Tate's performances on Comic Relief (or YouTube) or this doesn't make any sense at all! Thank you, John. I was on the Carnival Conquest when Ike was doing his thing and we missed the Grand Caymen stop, stayed out to sea (SAFE) and then an extra day in Cozumel,MX and then on to New Orleans. We were provided almost immediate refunds for the tours and the port fee, amazing, and a new Caper with scheduled events for all. Thank you John for giving us an even more behind the scenes look at all this work. Our hats are off to you all. Carnival is great... I have the utmost respect for Carnival and the crew when a port is missed. I have a greater appreciation for what goes on behind the scenes having recently experienced a skipped port. That and the people who clean the ship. Those poor people worked overtime last week on the Miracle. Let’s just say the barf bags should be posted all along the hallways instead of just near the elevators ;-)
