Steve and I just celebrated our 16th anniversary this week… and 16 years ago this week we were on The Ecstasy – the newest Carnival Ship! and…. yes, you were there TOO! For some reason, the Welcome Aboard Show has stuck with me all this time. I will never forget watching these fools lining up with a spoon on a string… is this what cruising is about??? I SURE HOPE SO!!

After a couple of cruises alone, 12 years later, we brought our kids on the Triumph… and you were there again! This time, of course it was the Bedtime Story that stuck with us …. never laughed so much all my life!

Now we are ready for our 9th cruise – 6th with the kids…. many Fun Ship Specials and 15 24K Ship on a Stick(s) later… we still look fondly on those moments that got us hooked in the first place!

You should do a Youtube search for SNL/Palin. Pretty funny. Great pictures from Stromboli. Its interesting to see how different the view/smoke is different than when you have posted pictures in the past. I liked Bubba's comments from the lava field tour. I have seen many documentaries on it and the pictures just simply don't do it justice. FYI, beer and ice cream are the meal of champions :) Hope all is going well and Heidi/Thingy are ok. We had so much packing to do and we were so tired. I hated missing any of the shows, so it was nice that we did not have to.I will miss your tales of the Russians but I am sure you will not miss them. They truly are the most obtuse/loud/obnoxious people I ever ran into.I fell so bad, I am so behind in your blogs. I am trying to get all my pictures together and put them in a scrapbook. With nine ports, and two of them there for two days, sure makes for a lot of pictures. Mike said if it moved, I took a picture, and if it didn't I took one. He is probably right.You are not old John and with a baby on the way, it will make you younger. You may want to think about that "girl" request, girls are a lot of work when they get older.
