Good luck on your flight and i hope it makes it safely to the states.
One of my worst skills growing up was dancing and I will never forget the ballroom dances that my parents made me take "because it will make you more well-rounded".
Let me tell you: My dancing still stinks.
I've been enjoying Jaime's daily updates and it seems like she's doing a wonderful job there. The pictures posted are great as well.
Thanks for another great blog and i hope I get to see you this coming weekend.
Take care!
David
P.S. Do you come in on Saturday night? Do you already have plans? (please respond)

Hi John/Heidi:<br

Sorry about that one (well not so much)…. If you party too hearty and were not able to work your petrol station shift…..Mr. Harjani thankfully was correct in firing your arse. Think of it ….if it wasn’t for Sue-Drip…..you potentially could still be working behind the counter at the gas station. The Flying Dutchman

Robbing someone with a pineapple?!?

Oh oh …..

On Bloggers Cruise 2 if I happen to be a little uhhh “happy go lucky” and am seen sipping on a foo-foo cocktrail with a pineapple garnish…I promise not to stroll over to the casino and make threatening demands with my chunk of pineapple.

Ratted out by Sue-Drip? You have to be able to "hold down the fort" and deal with all the issues that come along.David has been traveling the entire (almost 20 years) time we have been married. In fact, we got off the Fantasy on Monday and he flew to Atlanta on Tuesday. He flies to Dallas tomorrow and then to Louisville next Tuesday.Over the years, most of the "hubby" chores have been supervised by me....because hubby was gone. But he is usually back home on the weekends....so that helps a great deal. I just wish the house, cars and kids would wait until the weekend before they "broke"!! LOLOne hazard of cruising is that you do meet some fabulous folks from all over the world....how is that a hazard, you ask? Because this means that parts of the world I had never even heard of before (much less care about) are now on my radar. When the ferry sunk in the Phillipines, I knew my friend Emme was home on vacation from her contract and I worried until I heard she was ok.When typhoons hit, hurricanes develop, terrorists strike, flooding occurs....anywhere in the world...now I worry about our newly found friends.I can also relate to working at a convenience store during the summer as a teenager. At the time it was called a 7-11 (because they opened at 7am and closed at 11pm...how cleaver). Of course they were not as comprehensive in the items they carry as they are today. Back then it was more than just fuel...but the other supplies were just basics. Now (at least in the South) you can fill up your tank, get a little homemade turkey and dressing and grab some birth control as you walk out the door. Yes, today they think of everything!!I hope that Heidi can get a DVD (back in our day it was a video tape) of our little Wee One. That is the closest I ever came to making my children orphans....when hubby almost taped over DJ's ultrasound with a Nascar race!!!!Safe travels!!Linda (Mom of your friend DJ)

John:

Being married to a spouse that travels takes some getting used to. We can be silly together and I promise not to laugh, if you won't either!!OH, how wonderful for Thingy's first photo!!! Please post it if it's possible!! It's amazing how small and identifiable babies are, even at this stage!!!Ahhhh, guns and working in vulnerable places... I've been there! It is a scary thing to see a gun and be asked, "Give me all the cash!" "Yes, and you'd like the coins too?" (The strange things you say when your life flies by!!!) However, this was in broad daylight and from a drive thru photo booth...God Bless you flight and your trip!!!
