Per my earlier email we are returning for thanksgiving with our children and grandchildren. I had written to you asking to make sure we have a real crib for our grandson, and you asked to be reminded two weeks in advance or so. Our kids Bruce & Lynne Nagel will be in cabins 8204 and thier kids Abigail 3 and 3/4, and Michael age 1+ will be in 8208 with the baby. Can you confirm that we just wait to order the crib on board or can we reserve one. We are in 9205, with our Daughter Deborah. Thanks Again

Subject: RE: From the blogHello RogerI am sorry that you had to endure the awful sight of me with bells palsy.....I am ugly enough as it is without having a patch over my eye and a face like Quasimodo's. I am excited to hear that you and the family will be sailing again with us and yes.........I can confirm we will have a Cot ( crib ) ready for you once onboard. May I kindly ask that you remind me via the blog thingy a week or so before sailing. Thanks for all the kind wordsCheersJohnohn
My wife and I sailed with you last march on spring break. You developed bells Palsey on the cruise second day, and carried on like a trooper. We loved the ship, the cruise and you.We are bringing our kids and grand kids as well as friends on the ship November 22nd sailing from Ft Lauderdale. Our grandson Michael will be just over one year old and our agent says you ( the ship) can provide a crib not port-a-crib for him, but that we don't reserve it we just ask when we get on board the ship. Our kids will be in cabins 8204 and 8208 with the baby. Can you confirm that we just wait to order the crib on board or can we reserve one. We are in 9205.
The trip includes thanksgiving and we expect lots of families with kids so we are concerned. We hope to see you and enjoy the ship again this time sharing with our friends and familyHope you are over the bells palsey, sorry about the st petersburg reception. its why I don't go there. please reply if you can with adviceBest regards

Just fling the candy (or whatever) in all directions some distance from the float thingy. Everyone would have equal chance. Also the New Orleans police are very good at crowd control since they have to do it for real every Mardi Gras. What say ye?

Hey John,

It might not be a Guinness record, but what about something similar in New Orleans, perhaps for the Blogger’s cruise?

Perhaps a Mardi Gras float thingy and you wouldn’t have to break it open – trinkets and such are thrown from the float, so people could be kept at a sane and safe distance. You will never make everyone happy but I don't know how you keep such a positive attitude when you always have people criticizing.

I guess you can’t win. . .you give the candy to charity and people complain you should have sent it to the troops.
