Just wanted to let you know I agree about the adoption process. I am older then my wife by 17 years. I was too old to adopt a child even though we had a huge home, a great life style and loads of love to share. We now have two children of our own (funny how I wasn't too old to do that) but, like you, I wish we could have shared our home and lives with another deserving child. Have a great weekend. I do hope to sail with you one day. However with hubby being a CPA the Feb Bloggers cruise is always out of the question. I think the adoption letter you received is total and utter crapola. Wouldn't it be absolutely terrible for a child to grow up with the world as his playground/classroom. Oh I could go on and on since adoption is something I am passionate about. I have 4 kids- 3 bio boys and my beautiful daughter born from my heart and not my body.
