He had symptoms that he had ignored prior which he left too late and while he was treated and went into remission for a few years he may still be with us if he had treatment earlier. So look after yourself, we all hate the intrusions on our body but unfortunately they are necessary. I speak from experience. I have lost not one, but two husbands, to colon cancer. Both of them put off getting screened for years because the test “was creepy”. If they hadn’t put it off, maybe they would still be with us. CC is extremely treatable if caught early or in the polyp stage but difficult to treat otherwise. That’s why early screening is so very important.
