The digital frame is a great idea! Especially since you loaded it with pictures. We have one that someone gave us 2 or 3 years ago that had their pictures on it. We keep forgetting to take it out of the box and read the instructions. (Technologically challenged, that's me.) Hee hee. Jewelry is a lovely gift, but most women like to choose their own. My husband thinks I'm this tiny little thing, so left to his own devices, he will buy child-sized jewelry for me. He usually buys me jewelry in the duty free shop on-board ship, or in a port like St. Maarten.
Thank you for posting the list of activities for the Bloggers' Cruise in NOLA. It sounds wonderful. I can hardly wait. I booked the cruise on 1/25, so it seems like I've been waiting forever. It won't be long now!I agree about the play. It sounds dreadful. I still haven't seen the movie, because I was afraid it would make me depressed. You know, some of the items on the new Carnival menus sound a little like the items you described. There are a few people left who don't like "weird" food. Luckily, I can always find something to eat, even if it's the grilled chicken breast.See You Soon,

Hello, Hope that you, Heidi, and the thingy are doing great and enjoying your holidays! My sister-in-law that we cruise with now for 5 years has just retired from her job after 20 years and is taking her grandkids on their 1st cruise next week (12/15) on the Carnival Imagination. I would love to be there and see her grandkids faces when they see the ship for the 1st time. The youngest grandson was diagnosed with Omen's Syndrome when he was 3 months old and had to have a bone marrow transplant from his sister (7 or 8 yrs old at the time). He is a miracle child from God to have survived this disease(he was 3 in Feb). I was wondering if you could have something special done for them next week on their trip. The names are Beth and Terry Dowling and daughter and husband is Shan and Tony Strickland. The children are Katy Beth, Seth, and Drew.
Hopefully I will be cruising with her again in February like we always do. We have sailed with you twice and enjoyed it so much.
Thanks!

John, Please reply:<br

Do you also print out your digital photos. Do you have a printer specifically for photos? Robin beat me to it - my suggestion was also going to be a spa day for Heidi. But, and I know you're going to hate picking this out, you could also get her a gift bag full of spa goodies that she can use at home. Maybe if Mum or Sister could actually shop for these things if it makes you feel queasy going into a "Beauty Shop".I'm sorry your anniversary dinner was not as you had hoped. That's what happens when you go to a French Restaurant. Sacre Bleu!About your "Dream Team". You said Pat Riley was retired so he couldn't coach. But John, Winston Churchill is dead (and so is Vito Corleone). So you need substitutes.Regards to you both (and the little Thingy - Heidi, you are still glowing).Carol

Hi John & Heidi,

A belated Happy Anniversary.
