Heyyyy Heidi,

vanuit het altijd gezellige Wilnis een berichtje van mij.. Via de welbekende tamtam hebben wij vernomen dat jullie je eerste kindje verwachten. (en al snel..) Fantastisch !! Hoop dat alles goed gaat met jullie en dat je zwangerschap een beetje voorspoedig verloopt zonder al te veel “kwaaltjes”. ls jullie kleine straks geboren is….. ENJOY….. voor je het weet gaan ze de deur uit.
Bij ons gaat alles “gewoon” door. Kids groeien als onkruid, maar dat zal je snel zelf ervaren. Luke is alweer 10, max 8 en Tara 4. Alle drie totaal verschillende persoontjes met een totaal verschillende persoonlijkheid……… Erg leuk !

Enjoy de laatste loodjes, de tamtam zal Wilnis wel weer bereiken…..

Hi Heidi,

You write so well, John should have you do this more often.

Glad to hear that you are doing well and getting so much support from all the bloggers! You look so pretty in all the pics that we’ve seen.

As for the Blackberry, I think they should always be turned off at meals, movies and theaters, bedtime (unless it’s your only phone), and vacation. Yes, vacation includes cruises. If someone has an emergency, they can still get through to you if it’s important enough.

Hope John is feeling better soon…

Oh, after re-reading the blog, don’t you owe a few to the cuss jar? I count at least two. lol

I know this is a late one, but wanted my 2 cents in about the new commercial. I did not feel my usual “Oh man, wish I was on a cruise!!” feeling I usually get watching cruise line commercials. If I wasn’t an past cruiser (almost plat, yeah!!) I don’t think the commercial would get me to call a TA. Carnival already has me, dedicated cruiser. Commericials need to be geared to getting the never cruised before crowd excited. Watching Love Boat did it for me.

Hope John is better soon, I just caught a cold, yukky. Had to cancel the Bloggers cruise so I could go work in Spokane, 4 ft or more of snow!!

It was nice to hear from you, Heidi. Take care of yourself and the thingy, and of course John too!

Although I think the beachball commercial is a LITTLE better than the pinata commercial, it still isnt what I would expect from Carnival. I do like how the same music is used in both commercials, though. The song is a good choice!

I think some of the incredible ports of call could be incorporated into these “fun” commercials. Maybe bounce the beachball in the middle of the streets in St Petersburg? Ok maybe not…but I think the ports could be included somehow.

I agree with the blogger above when they said that Carnival should reconsider its European itinerary. We have been on 2 Carnival European cruises and they were fantastic. We would love to continue to cruise Europe and since we are loyal to Carnival, it doesnt leave us any options for now.

We are looking forward to the bloggers cruise coming up soon!

Dear Heidi,
I have not read the blog in quite a long time, being busy with Christmas and all. I’m wondering when Thingy is due, whether it will be boy or girl, etc. I also have a confession to make: the cross-stitched hooded towel I made for Thingy found a new home. On the angel tree at our church was a tag from a young woman who is expecting soon. I began shopping for baby gifts to fill a gift basket when we got the news from the social worker that the young woman’s mother had just died. She was only in her 30′s and was awaiting heart valve surgery. So the little grand-daughter she will never see got your hooded towel, with a bunny and her name stitched on it. Never fear, I will make you another! May as well wait till we know Thingy’s real name. No matter what the circumstances, babies should be welcomed into the world like royalty!
Larry and I are planning our next cruise. Now that we have been to Hawaii. we want to cruise Alaska. We’d like to fly to Seattle first to spend a few says, and we want to see Denali Park. Any suggestions, Heidi, John and bloggers? Pat

Hi John, sorry you’re not feeling well. I have enjoyed your blog for a long time, but this is the first time I’m writing to you. We are going on a cruise Feb. 1st with a group of Mensans. There will be about 43 of us. I think the person in charge is not a veteran cruiser because he is going to try to host a meet and greet in his room. I was thinking that maybe you could get us a private party room on the Miracle. Thank you for anything you can do will be wonderful. I just found out that they are working to have sometime set aside each day, but we would love a bar[cash] and maybe some food before dinner one night. I don’t know who the cd will be, but I’m sure you do. If you could get in touch with the cd we would be very thankful. Hope Heidi you and the thingy are doing well. Buy the way, we were on the Liberty TA 2006, with the Noro virus. And still we had a great time. Love your morning show. Thanks, Lynda
