We just returned home from 7 days on the Splendor. We had followed the ship via the blog from the building stages, was fun to be actually on board. We made a point of meeting Goose and the team (Adele, Kevin, Sam, Lauren etc.). It was Sam's first full week he did a great job. Food was outstanding, we took your suggestion and did one evening in the supper club(porterhouse for me). It was for us a highlight of the 7 days, as was the Vrooom show and oh the Fiesta Latina show, ok lots of highlights. Now for the unpacking NOT a highlight. Obama's inaugural committee has raised more than $41 million to pay for the events. How many MORE people are going to attend or watch, compared with Bush? How about letting history determine the true cost?George W has a track record - an extremely poor one, including going from a budget surplus to record deficits. The National Debt clock couldn't even keep up with him. Usually wordpad will keep the list of the recently saved/opened files near the bottom of the file menu. If you already checked there, disregard I reckon.For the 'Bush derangement syndrome' crew, 1. He was a big spender, but the incoming guy is going to make him look like a thrift store bargain shopper.
