The most important part of a building is its foundations and that is the same for any successful company. The Carnival of today was built on the foundations laid by the many and today at noon the fleet will lower their flags to half mast to remember a true gentlemen of the sea………………….Captain Carlo Chiarella

    I worked with him as his Chief Purser in the 1980′s and will have fond memories of our time onboard.     Captain Chiarella was the first captain I worked under in 1981 when I joined Carnival Cruise lines. What a great person. he will be missed by all of us who worked with him.
