My family and I just completed a week long cruise on the Conquest. We have 3 young (less than 2 y.o.) children in our group and Petra (hostess) and Martin (her husband and our waiter) were wonderful to us and quite excellent with the little ones. I'm trying to find an email address for Petra and/or Martin so that we could stay in contact and continue to send them pictures. If you can contact either of them, please tell them "yellow" (a new favorite word for one of the little ones) and they will know who we are.Thank you,

We are sailing on the Carnival Glory room 9280, on May 9th with a brother and sister-in-law room 9278. We all requested 8:15 dining time and believe our reservations are linked together so that we will be seated together.
Our request is to have a table for four on the main dining room floor so that we can see all the action of the great dancing waitstaff.
Thanks for any help you can give us.
Lynn
P.S. This will be our fourth time on the Glory and we are looking forward to it this time just as much as all of the other times, just 24 more days. And, 255 days until our first suite and it will be on the Carnival Dream!

John, please respond…….please, please help<br

I was just recently on the carnival Splendor only for the 5 day cruise. I had a blast but very sad your Carnival Legends was not scheduled for that week. I met Goose the cruise director he told me if the cruise for 7 days they would have had the show. Well I must tell you I got hooked on the audition for madonna. I am a big fan of her I love her music ( unfortunately I can not sing ) but I can dance so I checked it out on the Valor. I loved the cruise director chris he really stood out and impressed me. Anyway I got a chance to be Madonna, it was a lot of fun and I would like to thank you for allowing Carnival guests to particapate in this. I am going back on the Splendor one of the employees told me she saw me on one of the ships last nov 2008. What a memory, I love my girl Kristen Thomas she e mails me keeps me informed on specials. I am in the process in moving I was hoping I could sneak in a 9th cruise before my trip on may 3rd. I was hoping that I would have my 10th vip status. I have a request can you please send me something special as I will be celebrating my 50th birthday in may. My next few trips ( 3 of them ) are in nov and dec of this year out of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. I love to mingle in with the staff, goose told me he will be on vacation but Brad will be filling in for him. He is so polite and very sweet. I am travelling with my friend Diane our cabin # are 2001 and 2007. I was thrilled to see bill who has cruised 23 just this year. I was dinning with him on the valor . I hope all is well with him. I love to join in on all the fun games and competitions. Again I will be on the white team I have my carnival white pants and white carnival top packed to be the team leader, ha ha. I wished I was 25 years younger I would have jumped in and be a carnival entertainment employee ha ha. I am starting a new business with my friend Meena who is Indian so that means no time cruising untill nov thats ok. Thank you for having this site, I am happy that I can chat all about cruising, I am so looking forward on seeing Ken who is in charge of the dinning room ( the gold pearl ) He sings beautiful he is from dublin Ireland. So if anybody is scheduled for the Carnival Splendor on May 3rd 2009 I welcome you to come up and please say hello. John I am sure I will chatting with you again soon I will get back and have lots of stories about my trip. Thank you Linda

Dear John, I would like for you to know I am hooked on cruising especially with Carnival. John, with the new fantastic commercials from Carnival they play Anchors Aweigh our Navy song at the end and then the horn. I remember from my early days cruising Carnival they use to play that song as you set sail. I would like to see that started back up.
What do you think?

We sail on July 5th in cabins 6219 and 6209 (we are bringing the teens who have become accustomed to cruising and love it). We were so hoping that you were going to be the CD but it seems you have gone on to bigger and better things.
We have a couple of questions that we are hoping you can answer before we sail.First off, when we sailed on the Legend in 2006, we were thrilled by the music that played throughout the ship on departure. Songs like Come Sail Away, Holiday and of course Beyond the Sea were playing and it was such a treat, it made the departure so festive. Our CD was Brett Allens (fantastic!!) The next year we sailed on Miracle and there was no music to mark the moment...we were so disappointed as were the first time cruisers that we had told about it (we looked foolish to boot). So is this a decision of the CD, if so can we look forward to this on the Splendor? Hope so.Our other question is on behalf of our 18 year old daughter the aspiring dancer. She is hoping to dance on a Carnival ship in the future. We are wondering if she will have an opportunity to speak with some of the dancers during the cruise to find out more. She has been looking regularly at websites for auditions but it seems there is never anything that happens here in the french corner of Canada (Montreal). Is there any way you could help with this?PS: On a personal note as a former labor and delivery nurse please make sure your blood sugar is in the right range on the big day, you'll be no use to Heidi on the floor!! And believe me, it's a moment you don't want to miss. Thanks in advance

Happy Easter to you, Heidi and thingy.
I have a question for you. My husband and I planning to cruise to Europe in Oct 2010. We were blessed to have sailed on the Splendor in Oct of 2008 from Rome. I checked the Carnival site and didn't find any cruises from Europe in 2010.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks John, I hope to see you again.

I am just getting caught up on the blogs as we just came back from our Carnival Fascination Anniversary cruise. We loved the Carnival Fascination. There were some wonderful employees on there. Aleksandra in the gift shop tried her hardest to find us a Fireworks tee shirt in our sizes, but alas only 3 were in the whole gift shop...XXXL just won't do it...Hubby and I could get into one shirt and still have room! I Ketut and Sur in the Imagination dining room were outstanding servers. The whole dining room sang "Hoppy Versary" to us! It was so precious! In fact the only sour note was our cabin steward...worst one we have ever had. Josip in the Photo area was wonderful as well. Half Moon Cay was awesome, beyond beautiful. I wanted to tell you of the fantastic job that Aleksandra, Josip, I Ketut and Sur did. They really made our cruise special, if not for the cabin steward, we would have had a perfect cruise. ( We did not let him bring us down though!)
As far as baby names, I have always been partial to Andrew and Dustin. ( My sons are Dustin Blaine and Andrew Dayton) For a girl Destiny or Ashlynn
You are right, the Navy should show the pirates a thing or two..I hope they do.
Hello to Heidi and remember it is VERY dangerous to sleep with the wee one in your bed. Please make sure she or he has their own bed.

John,<br

My granddaughter (age 8) has just come back yesterday from her 10th cruise in her short life. They agree heartily about the nasty imps who make cruising a case for having another stiff nectar of the gods. Rachael loves every minute in Camp Carnival and when given the choice of going on a tour or going to camp - always - chooses Camp Carnival.Unfortunately the parents of these nasty children are under the illusion that "they are on vacation" and that they are also on vacation from their children. How very sad - for what they are doing to their fellow cruisers AND to their children's future life values.I wouldn't mind seeing in the Carnival Contract something to the effect about what consequences will be afforded to noncompliance to Carnival's rules and regulations. Have them sign this and give them to the next port to shape up or to ship out.I am not opposed to children as we have brought our five children on cruises and they knew very well the norms of acceptable behavior - or else!
Just a suggestion from an old-fashioned Granny!

Dear John:<br
