When I wake up I like to know what time it is, I do not wear a watch especially when I am in a hot climate my skin gets sticky and sweaty, I like to turn off my cell phone I don't want to talk to anybody or I might miss all the fun. Where is the Digital clock or a clock in the cabin? Most people tell me they turn on the light find there glasses and look at there watch. I would rather look at the clock tell myself its too early, roll over and go back to sleep. People tell me you are on vacation, time is not a issue, but it is there might be a class I might want to to and not want to miss it. Then the time is on the television but I have to wait and and catch a glimpse on what time it is. So instead this week I am going to wallmart and picking up a digital alarm clock and I will bring it with me on every cruise. That is the only small issue that I have. Maybe some day Carnival will put a clock in the future. John have you heard any other comments from your carnival guests? Well that is all that I forgot to mention its the count down getting back on the Canival card and I pick up my vip card as I mentioned in my last letter I am soooo exited getting this. I will be getting on the Elation for 3 days that will be interesting I have not been on that ship. Did I tell you I am from Edinburgh, Scotland, I came over in 1979 when I was 19 years old. I was in London, Edinburgh and Ireland for one month visiting mostly family and friends. So tell me what is the latest scoop on prince william is he getting married this summer or some time soon? We were hoping to do the Med. one in 2010… we had originally been booked on the Liberty for this year.. and as you know we were canceled.

Loved our Splendor cruise with you last September, hoping we can hop on the ‘Blogger’s cruise’ leaving from Baltimore.

A third excursion that my wife and I did, and really enjoyed is the Mayan Ruins of Tulum. These are very unique as they are the only Mayan Ruins located by the ocean. They are still in great condition and exploring them was interesting to say the least. We did this excursion on the 1st Blogger's cruise and as you remember the weather was not good as a lot of the ocean excursions and ones like the Dolphin swim had to be cancelled. We did get wet, but we now know why the natives didn't need to wear clothes as the rain was warm. We were a little wet but not cold. First time we had ever experioenced this. When the sun came out we had steam coming off of us which was tropical for sure. The pictures that we took there are still facinating and I look at them still. As for the RCCL Champion. I have looked at the Oasis of the Seas website and she does look like a great ship. The things that I did not like was the price tag and the number of passengers that they intend to pack onto this ship. Long lines and crowded conditions are for Disneyland not cruise ships. Like you I wish them all the luck with her, but honestly my first impression was wow! is this really being made, but the more I thought about it the less I liked the idea of sailing with 5,000+ passengers and especially at ports where they would have to be tendered ashore.
