There are no words that I am capable of writing at this moment in time except to say after a long , long night at 8.50am GMT Heidi gave birth to a 7 pound baby girl.
I will write a full blog describing ( if I can ) what happened on Sunday but for now I just want to say a massive thankyou to each and everyone of you for your kind words…….I hope you all know how special you are to the three of us
Heidi and the Thingy are doing well and should be home with me tomorrow.
Apart from ruining my favourite pair of underwear through fear…….all is well.

A GIRL!!!!!!!!!! How exciting!!!!! We are thrilled for both of you. Amazing, isn’t it! You can’t explain to someone the love that you instantly feel when your child is born. Our daughter is about to turn 30 and I can still recollect that moment when she was born as if it was yesterday. I’ve been checking the blog every chance I get. Wonderful news. I give this advice to man I know when his wife gives birth to a girl: When the boys come to call, just greet them sitting on the front porch cleaning your shot gun! One of my husbands friends asked the members of their “black powder” gun club to come over and clean their guns when his daughter’s first date came to call. The poor boy walks up the steps and there are six big guys with beards – all cleaning muskets and rifles. He is introduced to Jeannie’s “uncles”. You know, I don’t he ever went out with her again. …It’s a true story. I couldn’t make this up!

I take it Heidi is feeling well and Kye is perfect.
The first few weeks will be tough because you will all need to get accustomed to each other but I know you’ll all do fine.
Just some advice that was given to us long ago from some of my favorite neighbors. Savor each and every moment, don’t wish for them to grow to fast because when they are little the problems will be little and when they get bigger the problems will be bigger. We found that this was absoutley true.
