Bon a sarah as they say here in Italy and if there is anything that can bring the dormant Italian out of you its Costa Cruise Lines.

Tomorrow, starting at 11.00am European time ( 5:00am EST ) I will be writing a series of hourly blogs and updates along with photos and some fun leading up to the main event…..the worlds first double naming ceremony tomorrow night.

    Hi John,
We just got back from an 8 day cruise on the Freedom.. Had a great time as usual. Had to tell you we were at the Past Guests Reception, when they showed a short film about Carnival. Towards the end of the film, our favorite cruise director, had a few words to say. Seeing you and listening to you again made us realize how much we miss your witty and sometimes frightfully honest humor! We miss all the daily stories of some of Carnival’s most “unique” guests. We hope we will cruise with you again soon.
Guess you may have heard about the “drama” on the Freedom last week – at 5:00 am the entire ship was woken up by an announcement that they were looking for a missing guest. The announcements went on til 8:00 am when the guest was found. Hmm.. can we all guess where she was?? There was at least one unhappy husband onboard.

  2. Viva Italia, indeed!

    Hi John,
Quick question for you. There is a thread going on about the Cruise Director for the Dream and your name came up. It is said you will be there for a couple of weeks in 2010. Will it possibly be January 23,2010?

If there is one place that you shouldn’t try to have a fling, it’s a cruise ship. It gets very ugly. We saw it first hand on Inspiration May 2007 down the hall from us. One too many tequilas in Cozumel I suspect.

    JOHN (PLEASE RESPOND)

    John Says:
    Hello Toni
Don’t worry about anything. Of course we can have someone show the girls around on the first day and hopefully that will settle any worries they or you may have. It will be a wonderful vacation I promise and could I kindly request that you remind me seven days before your sailing date so I don’t forget to make the arrangements
Until then I send my best wishes to you and the family

    John- please respond
Rumors abound about the Dream being behind schedule & not going to be ready for the TA crossing. Now I am unable to bring the cruise up on my Carnival site. What’s going on? Hoping it’s just Carnival working on the site. Gig & I really need this vacation. Please send us some reassurance.
Also I am feeling Kye withdrawl. Costa’s OK but Kye pictures are better.

    Hi John,

    Please Respond.

I have been thinking about something and that is I bet little Kye is missing her daddy right now and her daddy is missing Kye.

When I was onboard the Carnival Pride last October, the CD Jeff Bronson (who is the greatest at putting together a Halloween Haunted House) was leaving the Pride and so was his wife. I have been wondering about the both of them, I know that she is going to have a baby soon, but what ship is he on now. Jeff went above and beyond for me on that cruise and I would like to send both of them something for their new little one. btw, I have also sent your little one something as well, since I found your address, so if you could tell me where to send this gift, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Kathy
