It was great to have dinner with you on the Pacifica Friday night! Loved seeing all the pictures of your gorgeous Kye. Good thing she takes after stunning Heidi! If you're interested I just posted my VBLOG - video blog of the christening. Please ignore all the woo hoos...a little too much Italian vino is to blame. LOLhttp://www.expertcruiser.com/blog/video-diary-of-costa-luminosa-and-costa-pacifica-christening-event-makes-guinness-world-record/Best,

Is that true?If not, an interesting suggestion for the ship would be to refurbish it and put it into service in Europe. A smaller ship such as that would not be as difficult to fill with passengers AND it could go to some of the smaller, more special ports that the big ships can't. (Especially in Italy!!)Anyway... Just a thought. I know there are "other" cruise lines that have small ships in Europe but I do not ever want to sail with anyone other than Carnival. Too, even if I wanted to sail with a luxury cruise line on a smaller ship in Europe, I could never, ever afford it!Should I send my suggestion to the CCL home office? After seeing the Holiday while in Key West on the Valor, the Holiday is such a cute little ship!My best to you and your beautiful ladies.Melissa

John please reply.

I have heard in various places that the Holiday will be decommissioned soon and that is why it has not had any recent renovations. I do have a question. I saw the presentation of that necklace to the ladies. It was stunning. Can you tell us about it and show us a photo? Who made it? Chimento? It looks like it. Who were the ladies? Did you get one for Heidi?Jo

Hi John, I saw parts of the event. It was really windy. Was it really cold? Were did you see or can we still see any part of the event? I'm sure lost and guess I missed everything. I am so glad for John to be attending this great event and taking in all the celebrations. He deserves this honour and break as he is such a hard worker in everything he does.
Thanks,
Geri

Hi Mach,<br

We wanted nothing ever more to do with Carnival. Then I found and started reading the blog. We just returned from the May 16 cruise on the Ecstasy which was Wonderful! If you weren’t writing this we wouldn’t have gone.We are now booked on the July 12 sailing of the Conquest which I hope will be just as wonderful. Do you have suggestions?I was surprised to learn that I sailed on the Mardi Gras...but then she was still the Empress of Canada. I sailed from Montreal to Southhampton on a college tour. She was a wonderful ship. Since I did sail on the first Carnival ship I think that I should receive credit for an extra and early cruise.Elizabeth

Please Reply

I am so glad that you write this blog!!!

We had been on the Ecstasy, but didn’t like it at all. My family and I will be on the Freedom June, 28th and I was wondering if Todd will still be there?

Dear John, (please reply)

I know you’re very busy lately, but I was just wondering when the Cruise Director Schedule will be updated. You must be missing Heidi and baby Kye. Love all the photos, please keep them coming.
Now the Dream does not seem to be nearly finished yet. I believe on an earlier blog you had said that sea trials would be done in April but we heard nothing. I am booked on the back to back Oct 15 and Oct 27 transatlantic, lucky me, so it will be ready won't it? Looking forward to seeing you when you board in Bermuda.
Any chance of Susan Boyle joining us on the Dream? Now a sea cruise would be a perfect way to recuperate.

John, Please reply.<br
