We were on the Carnival Freedom for the July4 cruise. It was our first on Carnival. The staff on the ship were wonderful and did everything they could to make everyone's vacation the best it could be. Eli and Liz (assistant cruise directors did a marvelous job, too.)
We felt fortunate to be on a cruise with you as you were so funny. We laughed until we cried.
Yesterday, my husband went to a doctor's appointment. He saw a nurse and they discussed summer vacations. Once she heard we were on a cruise with you, she mentioned how lucky we were. My husband agreed.
Thanks,
Anne

John,<br

During the Med cruise on the Freedom our cruising partner Lou unfortunately had to have his sign and sail card changed because it had incorrect info indicating he was underage. What a laugh! He is certainly north of 50.

John, Interesting bit about the care that the staff takes in verifying age before serving alcohol. Still doesn't seem fair. Might cancel the cruise though I don't want to. I really want to see you again, you were super as CD the last time on the Glory I think.Bill and JoanBill R Asked:

Today’s post by MSQPON – Jo Myerly Asked: is another slight by Carnival on Military Rates. I wrote you back a way that I was denied blogger status because of the military rate on the Dream cruise on Dec 3. You said that you would fix that for me, I hope that was taken care of as I look forward to seeing you at the blogger functions.

Hello Bill
I have to defend Carnival’s military rates as I meet serving personnel most cruises who are so grateful that we provide these. There may be some complications when other discounting gets involved but overall it is a great program that we are proud to offer.I will make sure that everyone who wants to be part of the Bloggers activities will be. I know that on this occasion not everyone was able to book with the bloggers code so I will make sure that everyone is taken care of. Looking forward to seeing you in December mate.
Best wishes

My thoughts are with MaryCat and her family. Her boys are unlike those you mentioned earlier that cause problems.
I think its ok to make the piano bar an adult area after midnight.
Great interior pics from Carnival Dream.
I hope the weather is better this week and things run more smoothly.
Take care and hi to Heidi/Kye!

I echo all of the above comments about teenagers and taking them into the bars and buying them drinks. What are these people thinking?
It's too bad Carnival can't have every passenger take a small survey with some common sense questions before they embark ..................if you get any of them wrong...............you're not allowed on board and this might make for an easier time for the crew and certainly make the rest of us sane people happier. Think about it.
Remember............"you just can't fix stupid!"All the best to the family.........................200 days and counting....tick tock, tick tock.....until we are DREAMing!B&D from Canada

Hey John,<br

This is a question for the IT group. How hard would it be to add alink where we could send you pictures that you might want to post on the blog. Nancy & I were on or way to Long Beach, Ca. and saw a sign saying "WE PARKED IT AS CLOSE AS WE COULD! The Carnival Splendor" with a picture of the Carnival smokestack in it. I thought I wish I could send this to John but I have tried with no luck to add it to the comments.
