I posted a comment about Carnival gift certificates over a week ago. You responded on July 13th and said I would be contacted within 7 working days. I still have not heard from anyone. Thought you would want to know.

Hi John and Stephanies, Please reply<br

I must say you are an absolute scream! My son loved watching your shows on the tv. Your off the cuff antics are hysterical! We enjoyed watching your morning chats on the big screen near the pool in the mornings, and your story about the woman from Texas who got stuck in the loo was a riot.I hope all of Carnival's cruise directors are as witty, whimsical and funny as you--this was our first cruise on one of Carnival's newer ships, and I think we're forever converts. My son adored Camp Carnival. In fact, I had to coax him to leave every night after midnight so he could get some sleep. Thanks again for a stellar vacation.Formerly RCCL cruisers,

I haven't seen you in a few years but have cruised with you numerous times over the years. I thoroughly enjoy your blog and thank you for taking time to keep it current. It really is greatly appreciated.I have a question about the Carnival Colors. I am Platinum and close to the 25 milestone and maybe I have just seen the Colors so many times. But honestly it is really getting old. I know in the beginning they were doing Red, White, and Blue and then later condensed it down to Red and Blue teams. Are there any plans to end this? I understand the purpose and trying to get passengers more involved, but there is nothing more annoying than at the deck party having to listen to screaming about a color. I was on the Fantasy again last week and I actually went back inside for a few minutes to let them get past that. Lets go back to the good old days where you just go have a great time and Conga line and all the good stuff! And something I have wondered. Do staff members actually keep track of the points? I mean it seems impossible given the amount of activities. One last question. I also hate the new S&S cards especially being Platinum. I will be on the Valor again in September, do you know if they will have the new Platinum card you mentioned by then? Thanks for your time John and hope to cruise with you again soon!Scott

Greetings John! Just had to write as I was also born in Warsaw, NY-like Noonan-though many years before him. There are not that many of us as it is a small town in western NY-situated in a valley with a creek running through it. I have not been back in years but I hear it hasn't changed much. I am also a Bills fan and I remember when they built the stadium in Orchard Park. I have been to one game there and froze...lol...I have lived in the south now for way longer than my 18 years in the cold and snow. I remember a Peggy Noonan-I think she was a teacher-though it has been many years and my memory is faded and of course I cannot locate my HS yearbook.Kye is absolutely gorgeous! What a little doll.By the way-we were on the Freedom this past March and had one of the best of our fourteen cruises ever. It is a fabulous ship and the staff was outstanding.Best wishes,

(at least most of them anyway). Please keep up the great work you folks do, and don't work poor Jammie too hard.... :)Capt Bill<<< Floating somewhere around Boston Harbor at work on the boat

John,

That is one of the things I love abou cruising, people are just very friendly and happy to be around others the same way. an example, a few years ago on the Sensation (I can not call it Carnival Sensation) I was hanging around the pool deck enjoying the weather talking to a group of people I had never meet before, and the deck games began, the next thing I know I am in the middle of one of the games ( a scavenger Hunt) wearing some poor ladys Bathing suit top (we gave her a shirt to put on first) and I was laughing all the way there. it was one of the more memorable times on my many many cruises.

I really enjoy the openness of people on a cruise. I'm starting to wonder if only I caught that.I can see your British and that explains you and Simon's rudeness. You can combine the talent shows for a bigger show.
