I for one knows this from first hand experience. I have a scooter and booked the handicap rooms on many Carnival ships. All you have to do is explain you would like a cruise with no tenders and you need a handicap room. There are cruises that do not have to tender. The cabins are huge. You can roll right into bed, or the bathroom and even the shower. As for ports of calls, every port I have been in they have handicap taxi cabs..I have used them. Also, when booking a shore tour through Carnival they will tell you if it is a handicap accessible tour. I have gone on tours through Carnival. I will be glad to give you any information or answer any questions about cruising! Let me tell you, I have just as much fun if not more than others on the ship! Ask anybody in Big Ed's Evil Crew, I do more than just sit on a ship and be a prisoner!!!! Martha,

But the one obstacle we have is that we are both in wheelchairs. and even though the newer ships are accessible, the ports of 'call are not.Tenders not accessible, No accessible cabs, no place to rent an acessible van, the tour bussesd are not even accessible. that is alot of money to sit and watch ships come and go, don't you think. Or we could be like prisoners on the ship. Or second class citizens. Our only hope is that someday we will be able to cruise. My husband and I would love to take a cruise. Their last names are all BAKER(15 of them) ours is Sharum(2 of us) They are on the 11th floor-we being smart are on the 10th! Trying to make sure our tables are together too at the 6pm seating. I do have a secret though I am the one and only greenman in that picture. I am also the greenman that was seen throughout the cruise(aug 1st- aug 9th). Oh and I already forget How you doin? Forget about it eh. And yes I am also the Marco Vito Partipilo that called in and was the Head of the family with the 3 mutts. This year, their SECOND cruise...they were a little more in the "tween" years, but still enjoyed themselves, especially on the excursions. Bland food....HELLO!!!! I don't think so... the food is EXCELLENT. Never had anything that was bland or bad. Maybe mom & dad should have left the kids with relatives/friends?? But I'm sure they would've been bored there, too. Love your blogs & your sense of humor, John. Keep up the good work!!
