It’s an absolute DREAM. I love the gold colors of the seats.
Wonder how long it takes to draw the blueprints for a ship of this size plus the interior designs?
John, from the very first day they started building the ship until the day it is deemed finished how many days/weeks has it taken? How many people has it taken to accomplish this feat?
I can’t wait to see the cabins.
We’re booked and can hardly wait to step foot on this gorgeous ship.
Countess Carolyn

Thanks for the pictures. My 3 year old granddaughter saw them and all she could say was WOW. I started crying again when I saw them, knowing that I will not be on her for the blogger cruise, or anytime soon after. Oh well the tears will have to flow, I will not stop looking at the pictures to come, the Carnival Dream is in a class of her own. So I will keep on dreaming.
Thanks, John. Love the pictures! I’m glad to see “my casino” looks great-and BIG. I love the colors throughout the ship also. Can’t wait to cruise on her Dec. 3rd, 2009.

Hello John -
Thank you for all of the Dream pictures! Wish we were sailing on her sooner than next November.
I just read through past blogs and was wondering if you will be our CD on the Oct. 18th sailing of the Carnival Legend? I noticed that you said you would be for a few weeks but wasn’t sure what date you were to start.
After the Blogger’s Cruise, we are looking forward to having the opportunity to experience you as the CD!
Thank you always -
Colleen
She looks almost finished.

Hi John,,
and thanks to Boris for the wonder pictures. Can’t wait until Valentine’s Day! A new ship, John, Ken and sailing with friends. What could be better?
Linda
I’m sorry but I finding those pics to be a really bad example of interior design. If you look at the different kinds of patterns and surfaces, there are green tables with cream sofas, and red carpets, it just doesn’t go together.
I think when choosing patterns it important to only have 1 or 2 strong pattern designs at the same time visible. Also colours should be used in a complementing way, not trying to match say for example sofa and a carpet, but instead should be chosen an opposing colour. Those green marble effect tables are a terrible choice.
Don’t get me wrong it will be a great ship, but why not put some effort into professional interior design? It would be cheap compared to the rest of the ship yet interior is one of the most important areas. Even if trying to create a Las Vegas look on the ship it can be done much much better then that.
Woo Hoo (as Malcolm would say)….
it won’t be long now!!!!

Hello John,
Please reply
I wanted to drop you a line. Our circumstances required us to cancel our trip on THE DREAM (about a month ago.) In the interim we have found a way to rebook the trip. I have opted to use my military discount and book an inside cabin (Susan really wanted to fish off the cove cabin balcony) I know that using the military option (lock and load) precludes us from being part of THE BLOGGERS CRUISE. We look forward to seeing you on board as well as Heidi and Kye (we hope) I am sure it will be a brilliant (very British) trip. The itinerary looks smashing (oops British) again. Tea party not withstanding (Not the current ones the first one) it is always great to see and greet our former rulers (could have been the French! Merde) and the cause of current state of confusion about which verb to use.
I would ask you a favor, if possible. Could you arrange for us to have the early seating / table for two? Eating too late gives me indigestion.

Dear John: So sorry to have to write a rather undoing message of the Princess Line to Alaska from Seattle. My friend, Gayle, just arrived back from this cruise and when I asked her how everything had gone, she said she really couldn’t remember very much because she came down with 50 bed bug bites the first night out and when she told the powers that be, the doctor prescribed antihistamines which kept her so sleepy she had no idea of what happened on the trip. The maid service took all of her clothes and washed everything in such hot water that most of her new underwear and a new jacket of her husbands had been quite ruined! They were put into another room, however, my fear is that the ship should be checked out very well, so that others would not be infected in the same manner. I told her I would report this for her, and I don’t know where I would send a letter of complaint. Could you please forward this message to the powers that be and make sure the ship is checked out well for future trips and the people that are aboard! Thank you for your help in this matter! Sincerely, Carol Brose for Gayle Miech
My husband and I are sailing on November 15th, our first cruise. We can’t wait, the ship looks great.
I am presently fabricating a model to give to the Captain on November 15th in new York.
The Dream is amazing. I look forward to the visit. As I progress on the model I learn more details, which is alot of fun.
