They are not THE only special needs kids in the world. This group may be loud...but they are not special or unique to cruising. Their children have tomorrow, albeit with social issues...My child has a written death sentences, he will most likely predecease me! I would rather have my child with social issues verses the real possibility of deat hbefore me! Please don't forget these children and cruising. They are just as special and deserve the reconization too! Remember, we are trying to give these children memories. They die with dreams and opportunties unfulfilled! They really irritated me.Why is it that some groups of Christians seem utterly insistent that the world change to suit their beliefs? When Orthodox Jews take a cruise, do they expect pork to be removed from the dining option? No. But these evangelicals and other sects that just can't seem to grasp that everyone is free to believe what they choose and to behave as they choose just piss me off. They are just as free to believe what they want, but they do not have the right to try to shove their system of living onto others around them. The goth lifestyle may seem shocking to these folks who obviously live in a very tight circle of experience, but I'm sure that this group of religious zealots seemed just as bizarre to the goths. But you don't see the goths complaining!And what sort of moron would book a cruise, with all of the information provided to them about the casino, the bars, the shows, the music...... and then seem shocked when they get on board? I have no sympathy whatsoever for them, and hopefully they will spare themselves and those around them, and especially you, from having to endure their lunacy in the future. Please don't spend another moment worrying about pleasing the insane. It can't be done. John,

I imagine you about as tired as I am with the smoking debate! I wanted to take a brief opportunity to thank CCL for attempting to make our cruises even more enjoyable (if that's possible). I am a former smoker, but we never smoked in our home or in our cabin on a cruise. I was glad to be able to go outdoors to do so, just like I would at a restaurant at home or at work.I think people need to really be honest about how our actions affect others. Smokers absolutely have a right to smoke, and I am glad there is a place onboard to do so. Non-smokers have a right to enjoy the clubs and now the Dream casino without enduring headaches and breathing issues.I also have an asthmatic child and I am glad he doesn't have to be constantly subjected to smoke on vacation. He knows which side of the ship to "hang out" on the Lido Deck and the other smoking areas are off limits to him anyway.I am with you in saying that I think CCL is getting it right or at least headed in the right direction. We had one of the best Maitre 'ds On the upper level of the Platinum dining room. He seemed to talk to every table every evening and was really concerned with our enjoyment of the meal and the service.. He could not sing as well as Ken but he certainly proved that Carnival cares for its guests. John
