Hello John,
Just discovered your blog after 3 Carnival cruises, and I loved it!
My husband, Mother & I just finished sailing on the Splenodor, extended balcony cabin aft. I choose this just because there was 3 of us in the cabin. It was the best choice I could have made.
As always the staff was perfect with a couple of shout outs for our room steward Daniel and Harry in the Gold Pearl. The one down fall was CD Goose, the only time I saw him was on the TV show in the morning but maybe that was because we had late seating and missed him at the shows.
Also I really missed the “horse races” as a pool activity.
We did take advantage of the future cruise program, and are planning the Carribean in Sept., maybe you could recommed a ship.
Please keep up the good work, can’t wait until Sept. 2010!!

The Carnival Freedom and Liberty are really cool ships and if you can afford a little more the Carnival Dream is their newest and best ship. My wife Nancy and I really enjoyed the Western Caribbean cruise of Cozumel, Mexico and Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios Jamaica onboard the CCL Freedom. Enjoy the Caribbean and welcome to the Blog!
