I had a wonderful time and having you as the cruise director made it even more special. At the welcome aboard show, the ever so famous Mr. Dick Wooden was introduced to us and you had fun all week with that. As a travel agent, I try to book my clients around when your going to be sailing, and almost 99% of the time, they always come back with such wonderful things to say, and they always ask again for carnival. I am proud to be a VIP with carnival with 13 cruises and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon sailing with carnival. My question, do you know when your going to be sailing next year. I would like to bring my beautiful girlfriend Cynthia to come see you and the magic you create on board. I wish you the best and hope that one day soon to shake your hand in person again and say thank you for the wonderful vacation. I recently sailed the magnificent Carnival Dream. I loved it but have subsequently been left with a very bad feeling for Carnival. My first problem was, getting dressed for aquafitness, only to find out that both pools are unaccesible to the disabled. I have recently had 2 knee replacements and cannot go up and down ladders. I felt very excluded watching people doing these excersizes. How is it, that a brand new ship could have disabled laundry facilities, yet exclude the people who need water excersizes the most? I would require stairs and a rail as was offered in the hot tubs. Secondly, is that at guest services, on board, a sign went up that Carnival was offering the $100 certificates towards the next cruise being offered on other Carnival ships. Repeat queries led to an answer that "sorry" Carnival cannot issue these certificates until the ship reaches USA and to phone Carnival when we get home. I have repeatedly called Carnival who claim that this is impossible, the certificates can only be issued on board. I feel like I am getting the runaround. The sign was posted on the ship and I feel that I am entitled to buy the certificate, it's origin is of no concern to me. This has left a very bad taste in my mouth and certainly if this certificate issue is not resolved, I will be looking at other cruise lines (not affiliated with Carnival) for my next vacation. This is very bad PR as far as I'm concerned, I don't imagine there can be that many people asking for the certificate and to me, it would be a small price for Carnival to pay to ensure repeat customers. john, I hope that you can help me with both of these issues. While you are there, if you have time, visit "The Pickled Onion" on Front Street in Hamilton. They have wonderful fish and chips!
