If possible, could you please pass along kudos to the waitstaff of the Pride. On my June sailing, our waiter Smith and his assistant Liayatree were absolutely phenominal! They were very attentive and meet our every request. They deserve some recognition for the standard of excellence they greatly surpassed. Great job!

Hi again!<br

I love your blog. I sailed on the absolutley beautiful Pride with Kirk this past June. What a great guy, and an even better CD. I also sailed on the Fantasy back in 1998. I am sailing January 16th, 2010 on the Liberty with my folks as a delayed Christmas present. Can you tell me who the CD will be? I know Butch is on the Liberty now, hope he'll still be there, he is awesome too.I am wondering if you can help. My dad has been looking forward to this trip for a while (we booked in March). However, his dear mother passed away in October after a brief illness. Since then, he has been lost and could care less about the cruise. I'm sad, because he loved his first cruise 10 years ago. Would it be possible to have a small "welcome aboard" gift or something in the cabin for him? Our booking number and cabin number are below. I'd like to make this trip extra special for him and my mom, as it's been a rough couple months for all of us. Please respond if you can. If you can't or can't do anything, I completely understand. I hope to be able to cruise on a ship with you soon. Keep up the great work.Happy Holidays!

I am trying to catch up on your blogs since returning from Carnival's Freedom for their Thanksgiving cruise. We had 'Wee Jimmy" as our CD and I told him that I would put in a good word for him to you.It was a great cruise as our "Traveling Turkeys" CC group had a blast with just perfect weather, comaraderie and most everything moving very smoothly from embarkation to the end of sailing.I was surprised that after being on Carnival's Glory in September that the menus were identical. Just as a matter of curiosity, I was wondering why each Head Chef doesn't do his own menus.I did notice also the sale of Freedom pins in the shoppe. I have pins from most of my sailings but they are of the generic type - no names. Do you think that in the future there will be a variety of ship pins to purchase on each cruise? The last time that I had written to you before sailing I mentioned that I thought it would be a hot seller to see Radu's pictures in a book. I was delighted to see on our TV that they DID have them available at the Photo Shop but when I eagerly went to purchase one I was told that they were unavailable. Do you have any more information on what's happening with this???We had enjoyed our dining service very much and like Carnival's Glory, the Lido Buffet had long lines. I can understand why as there were long waits to be served in the Dining Room and many headed to the Lido Deck.Unfortunately one of our evening wait-persons became ill and it was decided he would be given time to get well. This brought us a replacement for him, but also accorded us the honor of being the very last people to exit the room. We understood the problem but I don't think that we should have been chastised for it or made to feel at fault. In reality we had to miss two courses of the meal because of the delay. I don't fault the replacement as he was thrown into it without knowing us at all. I applaud all the opportunities for handwashings around the ship. All in all, we enjoyed the cruise and our fellow cruisers and hope many more cruises are in our future. On arrival home we were docked next to the DREAM and we kind of looked like lifeboats next to her. Happy Cruising to All!

May I suggest a "family ring " for Heidi... a band with a center birthstone for Kye and a smaller one on each side for her mum and dad.... if she is ever blessed with siblings, stones can be added but if not the ring will still be as perfect as she is.

Hi John!<br
