Today I have the honour (spelt appropriately enough in English) to show you the video of the Queen Elizabeth, it’s entitled “Now Things Are Really Getting Exciting.” Cunard makes brilliant videos and this is certainly one of their very best and gives you the first ever look inside the Queen Elizabeth.
I remember the first time I ever saw the Concord. I was with my Dad at Heathrow Airport and nearly wet myself with excitement. I ran around the observation deck, clutching at my private parts with one hand, pointing with the other and screaming at the top of my lungs “there it is, there it is.” And wherever a Cunard ship goes there are similar reactions from thousands of people.
Yes, there are bigger ships. But the first time you see a Cunard ship one that bears the name Queen Elizabeth, the Union Jack flying you’ll know what I’m on about. This is not a ship you need to see…….. It’s a ship you simply have to see.

Amazing. Jo
great video except way way too many shots of the bulbus bow going through the water. If you cut out most of those shots and put in more unique shots of views from the ship looking out over the water the video would have more emotional impact.
Absolutely stunning.
Too bad the Disney ships look more like Queens than the Queens.
The Queens look like Spirit class ships.
The inside shots are to die for, though!
What can you say,the ship is amazing. When I watched the video I got goose bumps.
Hi John,
It is simply amazing to see such a beautiful ship. Thank you so much for sharing.
Terri
WOW, she is spectacular!! Thanks for sharing John!!
An absolutely stunning ship.
I have to ask, however…. what is the purpose of the rather large, phallic-looking thing protruding from the front of the ship? Is that how life boats are made?
Wow, it is stunning!!
LOVE the decor! Thank you for sharing, John!
Brilliant… I would not have expected anything less…
wawaweewa!!
What a gorgeous lady. It feels like old Hollywood!
Wow… I would KILL to travel on her! QE is an incredible ship, and whomever is fortunate to sail on her will undoubtedly have an incredible experience!
Kudos to Cunard for building a dream worthy of the Queens’s name!
John, I can understand why this ship has been named Queen Elizabeth. It has the grace and beauty . It is a vey beautiful ship. I would love to sail on her one day in the future. She is fantastic.
Stunning videography… The inside shots especially left me feeling like I had just danced a breathless waltz to the music of the most superb band in the arms of the most exciting person in the room. My congratulations to Cunard’s video producers.
Very Nice….
STUNNING, I’m speechless !!! Great video, Thank You for sharing John !!!

Hi John,
Please Reply,
What a STUNNING and AWESOME video. I really liked the picture of Queen Elizabeth when she was younger, that painting itself is awesome. I would love to sail on the Queen Elizabeth, but I would have to sail in steerage part of the ship because there is no way I could ever afford the prices Cunard charges.
I will say this though, Carnival was smart in buying the Cunard Line. If it wasn’t for Carnival there wouldn’t be a new Queen Elizabeth sailing the seas again.
I was wondering, have you and Heidi taken the tour of the Queen Mary that sits right next to the Carnival Splendor. If you haven’t, you really should. I was living in Long Beach when she docked there for the last time. When they finally opened her for tours, they had an exhibit from Jacques Cousteau in the area where early check-in is now. What amazed me was, when they built the ship, every mirror is tinted pink. The reason that they did that was in case someone was seasick or ill, did not look pale, their faces and skin always looked fine. I don’t think they tint the mirror’s anymore. The Queen Mary is a haunted ship and that has been pr oven When you come out of the Queen Mary, you just have this AWE!!!!! about her.
Please give my love to Heidi and Kye
