John,
Great shirt, but you need a new one, your weight lose is really starting to show !!!! Great work!!! I know how hard it is to lose weight, with all the temptations on a ship…. Congrats to you !!! Keep up the great work !!!
John :
Great Viedo………….you are looking good, as it appears you must be losing weight.. – or maybe it is just the shirt ??
Thanks for the chance to see you from your fan’s on the Blog and FB….
Ron
Hi John. Yesterday I told you how well you are looking. And you are. I think it’s time for a smaller shirt. Congrats!!
)))
Dear John (Reply if you’d like),
I just wanted to say how much I loved my recent (late Aug) cruise on the Carnival Valor. I had been on one cruise before that (RCI’s Freedom of the Seas), and I thought my Valor cruise was better for several reasons. I thought the FOOD was much better (always an important issue!), I LOVED Punchliner’s Comedy Club, and generally, I thought you simply got more “bang for your buck”. Our CD, Big Tex, was great, so down to earth and friendly. Every crew member I saw gave a friendly greeting to me, and everyone was in good spirits. Our waiters, Jose and Igor from the Washington Dining Room (Please pass on the good word to their supervisors, if possible
), were great, and accommodated my grandparents all the way from Denmark (who speak little/no English) so well.
My family and I plan on cruising on Carnival again, and I’d just like to thank everyone at Carnival for offering such a great family vacation!!
Thanks for writing the blog as well, I love seeing the “Behind the Scenes” of Carnival. Maybe you could show us how the daily Fun Times are made each day, sometime. That would be really neat!
Anyway, thanks so much!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the video blog John! You should do more of them!
Thanks for sharing a part of your busy day taping videos for us… you are doing wonderful things!
Susan
I like the shirt John!
thanks for the glimpse of the Morroco lounge. I miss the Carnival Splendor!
John great video up until the end where it was TMI.
Keep up the good work
Tim
Great video John but the creme is out. what I really was thinking about is starting a Fresh Air Fund for you so that we can get you new underwear and help save Ketut’s lungs. LOL Keep up the great work and your blog is part of my day both here and on Facebook. Take care and please keep your wonderful sense of humor. Laughing helps and keeps you healthy.
Great video and you’re welcome! I think I now have your sinus/cold thingy…bummer!
John, no need to reply,
Just wanted to let you know that your diet must be working, your face is looking slimmer in the video. Keep up the good work.
Doug from Canada
Hey John, Loved the video, thanks so much for taking the time to make us all laugh. You really are the best online & I hope you let all the nay sayers bugger off. Ha! As an american I haver never said that …felt good!
Jan
A couple of observations:
1) What big ears?!?!
2) And who the heck would care after hearing that oh-so-sexy British accent?!?!
Just sayin’.
Kelly
Looking good John. Was happy to see you on the promenade with Heidi & Kye during our 9/5 cruise. Hope your girls get a kick out of seeing you on video. Wow, 7.5 hits is another amazing milestone. Thanks for the joy the blog brings and the fun times you provide while on a cruise. Aloha. Mary Hyder
Marshall J. Gruskin,
Why don’t you go haunt an automatic flushing toilet.
BIG Ed
What Ed says…
Thank You for all you do! I agree, you look like you are losing weight…looking good!!! I love watching your videos.
John, always a joy to hear/see you and no you don’t sound nasaly. Just one thing I need to know before I enter the contest though- internal or external? Also, one hemi prevention strategy is to not read while on the loo (you seem like you might be well read
.
Annette
Nice video, John. Don’t think I would want to win the contest though – someone else can have your prize!! :>) :>) Looks like you do need a smaller shirt but I love the eyebrows! And we love you no matter what size shirt you wear. Keep blogging and thanks for giving us a few minutes of your busy time. Look forward to seeing you on the Magic in Oct & Nov 2011!!!
Hi John!
Looking great on the video!! Thanks for the shout out to all of us who read your blog thingy, and FB. And thanks for being you and keeping us laughing and entertained. Please send our love to Heidi and Kye. Cheers!
John, definitely looking fitter there mate – unless of course the camera crew earned a bonus for their very clever lighting set up… Lovely to get a glimpse of the Splendor, we ‘re long overdue to cruise again after disembarking her back in ’08. Good luck with the rest of it, and I hope that the contest winner has warm hands and a kind smile
Cheers,
Mal
John,
Your looking good!! You have a great personality which draws in your 7.5 hits. Can’t wait to see you on the Magic. Say hi to Heidi & Kye…
John:
Horizonal stripes (up and down) do indeed make a person look thinner.
They elongate the body…..
But you don’t need stripes…you look just fine !!
Linda (Mom of your friend DJ)
John,
Are you still using hemmorroid cream? There is a proceedure where they put a rubber band on it and it falls off eventually.
Talk to the ship doctor.
Tim…….
John – you look great in the video. Thanks for making it for us. See you on the Splendor on Halloween!!
John you are looking great. I think it’s time for some new smaller shirts. Your clothes are starting to look big!!!
Please John help me figure out a way to give my hubby “cruise fever’ like i have. Every since last year where we squeezed us and our 2 boys into an inner cabin on a lower deck he has lost the fever. I would just be thrilled to cruise on the Magic, but it wouldn’t be magic without my hubby with me.
Any ideas?
Fellow Bloggers,
I just noticed something and for those of you like me that don’t know about this. If you put the mouse over the Gravatar (Little picture to the right) and click on it you will be taken to a site that enlarges the picture and displays a little background about each blogger. Try it on mine and you can see the picture of Nancy and I on the CCL Spirit during our 25th Anniversary. Pretty Cool!

Hey John,
Looking good brother! Keep doing whatever it is you’re doing. I think you should do more video segments and save yourself the time typing but please do them fully dressed. LOL

Your friends from Canada

Wow John your doing great, looking so healthy. You need to update your photo up there on your blog thingy.
On a serious note those hemroid creams don’t do….. well you know. Proctofoam works wonders, it’s an RX here in the states. I’m sure the doc on the ship can help you out with that
Safe travels
Geanine
