I have been hoping for some months now that the brilliant people at Princess (they don’t have beards) would come and join us in the world of blogs and not only have they done so but they have come up with a brilliant formula in which to do it. Having a gaggle or herd or cluster or whatever a group of 50 top cruise experts are called to reveal their bucket list of cruise experiences is a brilliant idea. Who better than to talk about this than the people who have been there and done that? This is certainly going to make for great reading and I know all of us who love cruising will be looking forward to reading the blogs that will start soon.

As you know I have made no secret of my love of Princess cruises and I know many of their shoreside and onboard staff and I also know that they have the right people to make these blogs absolutely superb. So, enjoy their first blog and I wonder how many of their 50 essential experiences you have done and how many you will read about and realize……that you absolutely must do.

Bloody hell it’s early…..6:45am to be precise. Once again, the three-hour difference between here and El Miamio means that with a busy day ahead of Morning Shows, Marriage Show, Past Guest Parties and the other delights of the day, if I don’t write the blog now there won’t be one. It was hard to leave Heidi and Kye this morning. It’s their last week onboard and during the night Kye decided she wanted to come and sleep with Mummy and Daddy so to have to get up and walk from the guest cabin to the CD cabin at 6:30am was bloody depressing.

Today I have the honour (spelt appropriately enough in English) to show you the video of the Queen Elizabeth, it’s entitled “Now Things Are Really Getting Exciting.” Cunard makes brilliant videos and this is certainly one of their very best and gives you the first ever look inside the Queen Elizabeth.

Good Morning everyone. It’s 7:10am on this Monday mooring at sea and I just made the huge mistake of checking my own personal e-mail account. I haven’t done this for many weeks. I have my Carnival John Heald account, my Splendor cruise director account and now my Facebook thingy account as well so my Yahoo has been left unwanted and untouched like Judge Judy in a lineup of naked Latvians.

So last night Heidi, Kye and I went to the steakhouse. Please don’t worry, this is not a blog to prove that kids can go to the steakhouse although I do have to say at this point that she slept most of the time in her stroller and when she was awake she happily giggled and munched on a piece of bread. I will though say that we did get some strange looks from one or two guests but I am not sure if that was “Oh look that (more…)
