Hi blogging friends, Everett here. With a lot of my fellow beards in New York with John, it’s a little lonely here at the office, but I’m thankful to at least have a beard on my face, and moving images of them to help warm my heart.
For instance, this one of John, from this morning:
Keep an eye on the blog later this afternoon… we’ll be posting a longer video recap of John’s day in New York. For now, be sure to subscribe to Carnival’s YouTube channel to be the first to know when new John’s videos are posted throughout the day, on top of all the usual fun stuff we share there!
Look, friends — there are a few things you should remember before you comment. The space below is for you to post your comments about the post I've just written above. Hey John!
Any idea where the carnival.com countdown clock went? Been watching it for some time now and am getting close to two digits instead of three!! But when I logged in today, it’s not there!! Carnival, don’t take away our countdown clock!!
It’s is under the “MANAGE MY CRUISE” tab. Just click on it.
My countdown clock was missing too, I’m glad it’s back. 107 days till my cruise!!
The last one was on the Splendor in April, poor Splendor.
I just love to cruise!!

Looks like your test of throwing the confetti out the window was like doing something else into the wind. Relieves one problem but you end up all wet!
Thank you for getting the clock back, just wish it didn’t say 311 days until you cruise. May have to try to slip one in before then.
Hi John, just saw you on my local news (NBC) doing a dry run with confetti.
Looks like you are in for a great time.
Don’t forget to have a bagel from H&H and a slice of pizza from any local pizza shop.
Give my regards to Broadway and Have a GREAT Happy New Year.
Hey John!
Watching the 11:00 news here in New york and just saw you hanging out the window throwing your confetti! Pretty cool!!!

Kerry

Thanks for helping us with reservations for Chefs Table for the Jan 8, 2011 sailing of the Ecstasy. My wife and I are celebrating 40 years of marriage (01/09/1971) and this will be the perfect way to do it.
CHEF’S TABLE RESERVATION NEEDED.
For some reason the children in Miami think they are funny with the “beard” thing.
The folks in Miami are trying hard – but they are not being as successful as they would like because they are dramatically overusing the term “beard”. It’s been deemed John’s thing and it doesn’t work well for anyone other than him.
Obviously, John’s blog is written 90% by Miami and 10% by him – and has been for a quite a while. At least the folks in Miami should quit trying to fake it. Do two blogs. For the most part, readers just want two things. First is something that might make them feel important on their upcoming cruise. Second is the funny stuff that happens on the ships. I don’t know John and never will. It might be fun to meet him. His wife and kid are personal to him and none of my business so I don’t read about them. However I tune in to see specific stuff going on the ships to make me laugh. Just my opinion and it is not my blog.
John, Beards and all the Stephanies and Maitre”D Stan,
Thanks so much for our Chef’s Table reservations on the Ecstasy May 23. I wasn’t expecting such fast service with all the New Year’s hoopla. But, as usual Carnival shows us why they are they #1 cruise line – great customer service.
Thanks again to all and Have a Happy New Year!
