ok,
So no one is commenting. Here I am stuck in my dingy office slogging away for peanuts and you are all living it up in the “Bahamas”. I can picture warm water, clear warm skies, good food AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG
Never mind. I’ll just keep my dreams to myself
We canceled the BC4 due to open heart surgery, so we are being voyeurs and following online! Thanks for sharing the good times. Maybe we can do BC5.
Bon Voyage!
JOHN, PLEASE REPLY BEFORE APRIL 17, 2011
Hi John,
Thanks for all the laughs!!
My partner and I are sailing on the April 17 sailing of the Valor. This will be our frist cruise and are really looking forward to it. it would be awesoem if you could arrange to have something left in our cabin for us…cabin 8301.
Also, I understood that the Valor drydock would include new TVs in teh cabins, but the reviews I have been reading, have said otherwise. Can you confirm?
Thanks!
Scott
Oh my goodness! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many people at tea time on board before! It almost looked like a dinner seating in the MDR!
Great to see everyone is having a great time and Big Ed is my hero!
I love tea and cucumber sandwiches on a Carnival ship, and oh, how I wish I were there!
Hi John
Just finished our 14th cruise with Carnival this past January on the Glory. Taking our 15th on the Valor the first week of April 2011. I love everything about Carnival. Particularly the added perks given to Platinum cruisers. Thank you Carnival. Cruised with you, John 4 times. Best CD on the High Seas!!! Love the Blog.
If there was one point of mild concern, it was the security folks who are responsible for watching the hot tub(s) on Lido. We sat by the pool in the big blue molded chairs that are located on the first riser at the end of the main pool. I was constantly seeing babies with and without diapers being allowed in the hot tubs. Did not see anyone from security address this issue. There is a sign on both sides of the hot tub that address this. Decided not to go in. We were on the Dream last March, and we saw security be pretty diligent in watching the hot tubs. It also appears that while security is missing the hot tub issues, they are also not really paying enough attention to the areas on Lido deck where smoking is and is not allowed. Several times during our last cruise, fellow passengers were sitting on the port side of the Lido deck puffing away. Even though we felt a bit uncomfortable having to take it upon ourselves to police this, we politely did.
The Steakhouse on the Glory was fantastic!! One of the best dinners I have ever had. Keep up the great work.
John,
I know you must be having the “bestest” time on this Blogger’s cruise 4. I just want to give a “shout out” to a cruising friend that is with you this week. Joanne Richard from New Brunswick – your Maine neighbor is hoping you are having a blast while I’m sitting here in this dang cold snowy place! Cheers! 45 more days and I’ll be on the Valor!!!!
Hi John, looks like you are all having a great time! Hoping you all have a safe and fun trip. Wish I was there, looking forward to reading about the next bloggers cruise. Hoping to make that one!
Stay Safe!
Terri
Help! Proposing to gf!
Hi John I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. Next week I plan on proposing to my gf of five years on the liberty some time the week of 3/12/11 -3/19. Boy am I nervous! This might take place in the main dinning room on a formal night for many reasons. My question is.. is there person I can talk to about not being seated by the main entrance of the mdr? Last year both times on the liberty I was right at the front door! Its just not very romantic spot to ask the big question. Its often very crowded with guest coming and going and I feel could take away from her night. Ive tried to talk to carnival reps but have gotten no help. Thanks for your help.
